I've been doing some research on Wiccan religion and those that are ancient and new. I feel that this religion would be most right for me. I'd like to observe a meeting of a coven sometime. But mostly, I wanted to come here and ask some of you what your experiences are with it.

What was the reason for you decision to introduce yourself or be introduced into this religion??
What do you enjoy about?? If you were in other religions before; what made this stand out to you??
How can one practice individually and properly without a group or Coven??

To give some basic of myself. It was attempted for me to raise Catholic, but I felt like it wasn't right for me. A lot of things are redundant. One main problem I always question people in Catholicism and Christianity: There was Adam and Eve. There was Lilith and Jesus. There were born/created from God, making them God's children. If we are considered God's children as well, would we not be equal to the ones who came before or even God itself?? Some agree, some ignore and change the subject and some try to make an argument. But furthermore, I have attempted practices with Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism. But I resulted in observing myself as only taking specific rules into account, instead of committing to the entirety of the religion. I understand Wiccan takes a lot of commitment, which is why I'd like to observe a group or even take advice on how I can practice myself. What most intrigued me was the practices of Reiki. I was ignorant of Wiccan and their relation to Reiki until recently.

So, even if anyone's advice isn't positive towards me, at least help those who may come along with similar questions, by sharing advice. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
