if you say "i" you're reffering to your private self which is the one that creates. without the "i" there's no control over the "me". this is called the pluralisation of the self, which constitutes the individual but doesnt mean he/she has a split personality. separating the "i" and the "me" is essential.

the "i" is the response of the organism to the attitude of others while the "me" is the organised set of attitudes which oneself assumes...
therefore, "i" is how the person see him/herself and the "me" is how an individual actively sees her/him self through the eyes of others

I--->what should "i" do? (private self)
Me--> what will they think about "me"?(social self)
