With tens of thousands of elderly dying in nursing homes from the coronavirus, it’s clear Trump could care less about the elderly
unless they can do something for him.


Good news is the elderly are fighting back.


In Florida, a Quinnipiac University poll released on Wednesday showed Mr Biden leading Mr Trump by a 10-point margin, 52 to 42, among voters 65 and older - the latest poll showing Mr Trump losing ground with the elderly in key battlegrounds. In 2016, exit polls showed Mr Trump winning seniors in Florida by 17 points over Hillary Clinton, a crucial margin in a state where older voters make up a large percentage of the voting population.

 

It's just as local a story as the one where video shows a thief and cop hater ran up to and attacked two men with guns and tried to wrestle a gun from the hands of one.

What might that attacker have had in mind to do with that gun once he yanked it away from the guy standing in the street???
But that's a different story...

I didn't see or hear of that video/story until your posting it here. I fail to see that it has any connection to any "base", it's just some mentally ill pos perpetuating a heinous act.
Like was said before, the only thing that makes the story polarizing in any way is the fact that a strong personality commented on it.

I suspect this kind of thing happens more often than we'd like to think. If it wasn't for the video, the perp would have gotten away with it and probably escalated his attacks.

 

Absolutely it happens all the time.
I don't remember a time when there weren't occasional stories about elder abuse in similar (and dissimilar, for that matter) settings.

 

I've seen a lot of crazy, disgusting, gasp-worthy content and somehow, thankfully, it still bothers me.
Possibly more now than it ever had before.

 

Well, I assume you have been to S..... judging by your avatar. Lots of things come to light there... and just growing up on the internet as well, things you wish you never saw, that above is one of them. I do think if this guy has a defense it will be mental illness too. It was racially motivated with the slurs and the target of victims. There was more than one. But he will probably get a slap on the wrist too,

 

Yeah, I was born in Second Life... as in, the me who is Kick Frenzy.
I've had a couple other online personas, but this is the current one.
(And I've recently been considering starting over again.)

But yeah, I've seen a LOT of stuff in SL.
I even own a crappy little shop on the all Adult rated continent of Zindra!

But it generally wasn't this kind of hatred and violence.
That just so disturbing... I'm glad he was arrested.
I hope his behavior is addressed appropriately.

Biden has a high favorability rating among women, blacks, and the elderly, so unless Trump can make Biden
into public enemy Number 1 like he did with Hillary (with help from his Russian allies) - he's finished.
