The Farmer's Daughter Country Market in the village of Whycocomagh, located on Cape Breton, an island at the eastern end of Nova Scotia in Canada, is offering two acres of land for free to anyone who works there for five years. Would any of you be interested in this deal? http://www.cnbc.com/2016/09/16/a-business-in-canada-is-offering-a-job-and-2-free-acres-of-land-if-you-relocate.html?__source=yahoo%7Cfinance%7Cheadline%7Cheadline%7Cstory&par=yahoo&doc=103944461&yptr=yahoo
If I wasn't already in the process of moving to the country I'd be applying for that. Sound idyllic. Plenty of land there to grow a crop. Probably no broadband though so that'd be a bit od a downer, might end up going a bit Jack Nicholson.
they posted on facebook so I am guessing they have internet....anywhere in Canada can have sat internet nowadays.....they probably have too many old broads thee and are trying to import some dudes or visa versa
looks like a tourist trap store... and the ad says you only get the 2 acres "If the employee stays on at The Farmer's Daughter Country Market for five years, and everyone still likes each other after that time working together" if the place is that sparse youre better off just buying some acres and then trying to find a job there definitely have internet..its in the middle of town https://www.google.ca/maps/place/The+Farmer's+Daughter+Country+Market/@45.9748033,-61.1264997,3a,60y,90t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sYy-kIyXppED5p5ylWYOwMg!2e0!7i13312!8i6656!4m5!3m4!1s0x4b5d73ea4cd80353:0x1e1f54a2ff9d1486!8m2!3d45.97508!4d-61.126715 100 acres for under 50k..and no "masta" to yank away your 2 acres using some fine print clause 2 days before your 5 years comes up https://www.realtor.ca/Residential/Vacant-Land/16924636/0-Campbells-Road-Road-Whycocomagh-Nova-Scotia-B0E3M0-Whycocomagh have to wonder why the locals arent interested in working there
