The War Within by Bob Woodward is my newest read. So far it is managing to hold my attention fairly well. It's hard to believe the guy that broke the Watergate story is still around spilling the beans. Political battles inside of the Bush White House were intense.
Bumping this old thread by saying excellanté choice of book! I'm not American but the US during the Bush administration, what horror! How did you guys even survive (bound to get a shitload of crap from Republicans for that). Speaking of Bob Woodward! A book I can strongly recommend is The Brethren: Inside the Supreme Court. It's thick, heavy and filled with big words but it's worth every minute.
