why only two? aren't four or even six easier to stabilize. i guess that's what makes it a big deal to do so. but the legged mobile platforms from boston dynamics have been doing amazing things for most of a decade by now. less gosh wow, but more actually useful. why not just put four wheels under them, but give them arms long enough to lift themselves over whatever obstacles they might encounter? even climbing stairs there are better and simpler ways to do then balancing on two legs. (i'm also interested in ways to power self mobile machines for use in mining, construction and agriculture. and i mean those which do not rely on combustion, NOR fed from a power grid)
