In my old hood it was like "Yo Shaniqua, get that muthafuckin ass up in here child, 'fo I slap yo behind, niggas is hungry!"
The ultrasound was the coolest thing ever! I didnt want it to end, because it was so cool to see the baby moving. It turned around, open her mouth, put her arm behind her head and it reminded of John when he's laying in the couch, put a finger on her forehead and the lady said "your baby is thinking!" haha, I got a picture of that one, but it's not as clear as looking it from the monitor, she scratched her eyes (that made me think of me haha). So cool, I could've been there forever and I cried a little, because the baby is too cute. I didnt know until the end that it was a girl, she kept moving and being all crazy. They thought they werent gonna be able to tell me, but I was like "C'mom baby! Mommy wants to know!"
ahahahaha! that's cute, janja. i had a very close friend years ago from croatia/yugoslavia, and his sister's name was anja. i don't know why, but i just freaking love it. i love the way it sounds, and i like that it's spelled differently than it sounds.
Followed by a 25-second "Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeit." :cheers2: Shaniqua is no longer hip, though, it's now spelled Shaneeequa. With 3 e's.
this is making me very happy. i'm totally smiling right now. and i really hope you guys DO name her sophia. totally one of my favorite names. if i ever end up having a kid and its a girl, sophia is definitely among the top of the list of names i'd consider. beautiful name with beautiful meaning, theres nothing bad about it
And the people there were so nice! I really didnt want to go without knowing, and they had three girls scanning my belly. The last thing they did was to ask me to lower my pants, and then they put the head of the bed down and were like you can hold on if you want, we dont want you to fall haha.
