4ththose who inevtitably pointout this is an old post.plz b aware of the fact this is in same place 2011 as 2 yrs ago.so its probly hiphappnin rite now as we speakothers in my absense decided 2 have it again.hey its just messenger me.yes there may well be acohol.but we try 2 keep it minimum. Bear in mind locals gather here w/alcohol have been doinso longtime.but we have silence on 4th just like natls.

Informing pppl abt the possible presence of alcohol is honest & informative, I see no hate there.informing ppl this is now not 2 yrs ago is informative as well.no arrogance.if u have copy/paste capabilities on ur current device I suggest u utilize it.show me where th hate is.

Howdy paisley, longtime no see. We decided last yr to have this gig permanently in the same spot. I've setup as early as june 12th. & had heard individuals had come earlier but had left. So in june 2012, all are welcome, as it were. If it becomes 2 big we have spillover camps. I'm thinkin vera cruz, 4 example, perhaps fiery forks, mayfield access. This is fragile area, I do believe 250 rainbows would be max. I doubt 300 ppl will show, but if so, good we can be creative. I would like a council &/or spring regional 2 b revived. Again perhaps fiery forks. I'd proposed council approx valentines day but it wasshot down. I actually prefer fiery forks over mayfield as as ff is more covenient. I do believe it's been 5 yrs since fam was in ff, so perhaps its "safe" 4 whatever. Spring regional may be 2 big for ff tho. Some in shawnee have suggested we revive mo fall regional.

 

Just an early post here, folks. For those who can't make it 2 natls. If u come really early, as in june 10th, we will provide a holding camp known as vera cruz access. No big deal we like early arrivals. Creek flows frm vera cruz to rippee. Goin by water is less impact. Dept of conservation has set aside extra space fo us this yr. Rippee has mostly been under 200 ppl.

If u wish 2 percieve this event as acamp. Then have fun doin so.

However as i have pointed out manytimes. Traditional acampers generally don't attend this event. This is due to the fact most of the surrounding area isnt easy 2 hitch in.

@most thru the yrs 30 ppl may have hitchiked here. So is your definition of acamp, the same as roaddawginng?

& too as has been pointed out, this is a small event. Acampers in my experience prefer larger ones.
Yes, there is alcohol usage. However it is kept seperate from our 4th of july silent prayer circle. We have @ this event mostly everything in one place.

& on abt 10 seperate occasions i've suggested a walk into a meadow. As a way of geeting away from the alcohol. There was actually an individual who attended here who refused to join me & others for a walk to a seperate main circle. Thus individual then later came on a forum like this saying we had alcohol in main circle. Yet as pointed out above same individual refused to do the walk.

In my opinion weed shouldnt be used in main circle either. It should be as seperate as alcohol.

Besides all that. Before u judge this event attend it first. & when here suggest the walk. Then u will see. Ive run into a gret many experts on rippee. None have come forth with the walk idea.

 

This event happens as well to be in a campground with pit toilets & fire rings. We are often sueeiunded by locals who welcome to join us. These folks bring alcohol. We as family point out tye no alcohol guidlines. The locals respect this. So alcohol is kept mostly away.

So in actuality we dnt have a traditional main circle mostly cuz of the fact nobody wants to walk to it.
