why comb monday morning and destroy any progress
3 days wont give yas much but will begin seeing changes, they may start sectioning may start knotting and yes every day u comb out knots so every day u destroy progress..add 1 day to another to another asnd the progress builds, ..unless its destroyed by combing.

now fuck combing on monday, insteasd monday post your 1st update pics..it wont show a ton of progrees but will show some
by week though u may see baby dreads start..maybe 2.. thats 4-5 days longer then ya waited b4 beciomming inpatient and combing..add on another weak and see where things are.. 2 more and your at a month, well on your way
its at this pint if u had zero progress id make my 1st concideration at trying other routes or sticking with it another month..
but more then likely youll have good progress by then

with your hair type..twisting cant hurt to begin the sectioning and make it controlled.but it wont be needed art all , just if sections are too big rip em apart

    hair like what
    twisted?
    twisted hair willlook like dreads
    and will become dreads fast
u want dreads then go to school with dreads happebni9ng on youtr head

wearring a hat ..wool especialy helps not too tight tho
    and
after u take it off go thru ewm seperating and or fluffing em so theyre not all squished or growing together
if u can wear a ghat to school your set

have ya tried twistenmn em up to see how they look?
with your hair type and doing twisting they will most likely look pretty good from day 1
and only need a lil bit of minor fussin with to look good till theyre well dreaded

dont let fear get in the way
afeter all when u are dreaded, u will find most ppl love em, but, dsome ppl will hate em
u will always get some negative comments no matter how they look so..get usede to it early
have no fear twist em up wear em proudly and anyone who gives ya shit bout em just ignore
(especialy if they tell u u should wax)

I twisted them in the morning last sunday, and they held all day, i was only once in a while gonne check them, but most was still there. I only did 6 in the front.

But when i twist them they like curl a bit, but i guess that dissappears when they start to become dreads?

I've read it ussually take several months to dread naturally, and for some a year(i don't think it will take that long for me), so i think i unfortunatly will go the backcombing way :( I'm sorry fellows :p

If i'm gonna get hair back combed, shouldn't i call som hairdressers and see if theyre familiar with it?(Tell them not to use wax etc)? Because it maybe costs a bit, doesn't really matter.. I've heard that some that gets a friend to do it, end up messing it up, and it becomes not very beautifull :(

i got my friend to do it, shes infact backcombed my hair 3 times (cause ive had 3 lots of dreads) and if you tell them what to do/how you want it, then theyll do it

you can do it by yourself, but it might take longer, and itll be awkward on the back, and knacker yer arms out

i wouldnt say go to a hairdressers

I backcombed mine on my own, with a little help from my hubby on the ones in the back.
Find someone you trust, put on some good tunes and get to it! :D

you have to walk the walk of a dready to grow nice ones with your hair that length. do it natural, without a comb, and you wont regret a minute. it seems your hair will dread nicely in however long it takes to grow your roots a bit for length. throw a hat on and keep your hair clean.

    be easy, dread easy.

I did mine myself (backcombing) took 12/13 hours straight :)

I couldn't move or lift my arms for days after :p

If you're gonna go down the BC route get some friends to help :)

And I certainly haven't regretted my BC decision :)

Today i tried to do the twist n rip method once, and a something that looked like a small dreadlock formed :)

Why is back combing better than twist n rip? would it be better to combine the two of them?

Hey I'm not too far away from you. If the shops in Denmark are as bad as they are in Norway, I think you should just order shampoo online. I get mine from UK websites usually. Caucasian means white ethnicity really. It's what you are if you're not any other race lol :p
