A few questions about dreads :)

But i think it's hard to find a job if you have dreads.. I don't plan on having them forever, just a few years maybe, and i'll see how everything turns out

 

its not so hard really..and getting less hard all the time (wekll except that now its hard for everyone to get jobs)
as the econmomy rebounds it will be easier
unless it collapses completely then well your job is anything u choose to do..so getting a job will be as easy as choosing to do something that needs to be done.

nah dont feel sorry for me it was mostly as good thying, and traded in the motorcycle for a glider and flyings soooooo much more fun then walking anyway

Btw, im bored at the moment so i just i'll upload some pictures of my hair now.. lolz don't laugh.. and don't pay attention to my crazy eyes, they look awfull on pics. Two of the pics is when i had almost longest hair i've had, and other two the hair i have now (The last of em combed up to show it)

This isn't the ideal hair a 15year old teenager would have :S

nah i rode for years just not anything like those bikes.. wass the streets fault really the massive pothole

I hope that this isn't a stupid question, but what color will my dreads be when i get them?

I suppose the hair color gets more dark when hair is dreaded, can someone post a pic? If you have the same haircolor as me.. some kind of brown

 

Think it stays the same... unless you're me, in which case it may go pink or purple

Mine have got ever so slightly lighter I think!

 

stays tye sanme but some dreads exposed to the direct sun for awhuile may be lighter then other dreads
most of mine are the normal hair color with a few lil lighter or darker

 

I've read some on the forum at it seems that getting natural dreads usually takes 6 months!! I seriusly can't walk around with messy hair that long :'(
I know many of you put your lives into dreadlocks, i just think they look great, and i'm willing to take care a lot.

I can try to get naturals for like a month, and then if i see they lock fast in that time, i can keep going, right? If it happends fast at start, wouldn't it happen fast for futher time?

dylanchicks dreaded beforee my eyes, 1 week she had her 1st dreads..2nd week a few more..it looked lil crazy for 2-2 1/2 months but by then were looking great
windcriesmary as well hers dreaded in no time flat
then check out the thread progressdarthkacie is just beginning hers, the 1st dreads are just forming and shes only 4 days in or so..maybe a week but already getting her 1st dreads

its different for everyone..and some can take awhile..otghers happen fast..
mine seenmed to happen in ws week or 2 but was so long ago hard to remember

Should i twist my hair one day and walk around with some twists or should i leave it alone untill i see its dreading some places and then form them as i want?

Btw, every morning when i comb my hair theres some hairs like stuck in eachother, is that dreads forming slowly?

 

natural dreads

wash your hair with residue free soap
separate at the roots if they need doing/you dont want fatties
keep them clean
stop running fingers thru yer hair
get a woollen hat/tam
chillax
