a few more of mine

ive been in a bit of an artistic rut lately.. ive got loads of painting borads collected up.. and cardboard...and paint... but i just.. cant..do it.

but these are the two newest sketches ive done. the first ones a Goddess image which i MIGHT try and put onto paint board but i dunno.


this ones a drawing i did for Jaycee cos he wanted something he could carry around with him everywhere. its got lots of different things to do with times we have spent together in it.

i dont think you are in much of a rut, you definitely have some creative juices flowing through your veins. maybe the paintbrush will speak to you soon.

My preference normally isn't abstract, but the more I look at this the more I really liked it. The second picture is really awesome, when I read the writing in the corner it totally made me take a second and third look at the work.

The second one has so many little things in it to do with me and him. The catterpillar with my head is from the frist time he met me (me in a sleeping bag on shrooms basically) The bed on the road is an obvious metafore for when we travel in the van, the sea horses in the sky are something we saw at glastonbury, we met at the avebury beltane celebrations and my birthday is on mid summers eve which we spent at stone henge (hence the magic stones) the runes mean journeys and creation (i think, or something else significant i cant remember now :S) but yea theres more in there but i wont go on.
the top one turned out to be very goddessy, the shape is very vaginal, and the cup at the bottom is a pagan symbol for goddess of fertility.

your not in a rut, dont be silly, your constantly doing pictures. the fact you study it at college means you CANT get a rut... unlike me. the fact im NOT studying art has put me in a rut

 

its put me in a diff kinda rut i guess then!
im unhappy with my work!
i want to do my won thing but college has restricted me!
i dont mind developing my style ,but i refuse to let somebody force it,it should come naturally and of its own accord!

i never have the time to do anyuthing i want to do!
and when i do,i have no imagination left to do it becasue of college work!

not performance art. they dont give yuo time to do sitting baout with other creative people and being creative with them. no painting or anything its horrible
