they're so courageous in UK I remember driving a car onto the ferry to get to the Isle of Bute off the coast of Scotland not far from the Isle of Skye that Paul the beatle man sang about !
That's a pretty port city that looks similar to ones in the Chesapeake Bay area in the US, but obviously has worse weather. The easy guess is that the armory is at the top of the hill along with more tourist traps.
I used to live there. Yes there are some old defenses further along in a place called Puckpool park. I will go there another day, as it also had an underground cinema for the troops stationed there defending the port at Portsmouth during WW2.
This place has great history. Queen Victoria built a holiday home here.. Osborn house! When she died this is where she was. History says bringing her body back across the sea was a beautiful procession.
