I'm not sure... coz I just checked mine because I also have white text on a dark background: http://dreadblog.amykristiansen.net/ but don't seem to get the same problem looking at it. You could try increasing the font size?
It's probably worth pointing out I'm picky about visual design, so feel free to ignore what I'm saying... but, I dunno, oh you changed it as I was typing...!

Ok, well that may not be beautiful but it's a massive improvement on readability!

Does the site get many hits? Do you have Google Analytics on it or anything?

It DESPERATELY needs paragraphing. All of it. Jeez lazy people suck. Why doesn't anyone paragraph anymore?

You're going to give readers headaches instead of facts. Paragraph all your entries. Maybe that's why you haven't gained feedback because no one can read it.

well, i tried to do that but for some reason blogspot sucks and it just puts it in a random format every time. and when i go back and look at it it changes over and over.

dunno bout blogspot but perhaps the issues with html itself just hitting enter and tab to indent for a paragraph is ignores instead put a <p> tag to designate a new paragraph?
personaly i hate paragraphs puntuation capitalization and all of that..i never pay any attention to it when im reading so why should it be there?
(except question marks, those do serve a purpose)

amy i find many sites use too small of fonts
luckily my keyboards got a zoom button that zooms browswer and image editing stuff
at least 1/2 ther sites i usualy end up zooming at least alittle to be able to read properly without my eyes screamming.

herbalist i know what ya mean bout it sucking to not get feedback, i ran a local website for local rainbow gatherings drumcircles and stuff and wanted other ppl to contreibute but even though my page came up 1st in search engines even above all the more well knbown ones and got alotta traffic i couldnt get anyone else to give me input or help on it
eventualy i just stopped updating it then after few years just forgot to pay the hosting and domain fees
