A 30th B-Day present: Goin'Veggie!!!!

Hmm.....

Those of you that have read my few posts on this particular forum may recall that I was raised in a vegetarian home and didn't eat meat until I was 12 y/o. I've eaten meat off adn on over the years but I quite often buy soy meat substitutes out of habit and because they are quite often more convenient than meat. ie cooking time,storage etc.

I turn 30 years old on October 31 and on that day I have decided to give myself the birthday present of going back to being a vegetarian.

If everything works out I'll starting the Vegan/Vegetarian Chef program at Atlantic Union College in South Lancaster Mass. in the fall '06 semester. I think AUC offers a Dietician/Nutritionist Major that is taught from a Vegetarian perspective so I may take that as well.
