Back at 9/11 again. Nineteen years later. Trump on TV when I woke up, going on about "radical Islamic terrorism". He called the unfortunate victims of the crash heroes. My question is; Are they heroes just because they were on the plane, or just unlucky? I mean how many of them would have boarded that plane if they had known?
United Airlines Flight 93 was on it's way to a significant target when it crashed into a field in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. The passengers and crew battled to regain control. They are the embodiment of the word Heroes I'm sure that they would've gotten on the plane knowing they were going to die shortly after take off. If they didn't crash the plane, thousands would've died hitting the designated target. I'm positive that all those firemen and policemen running into the towers knew that they probably were never gonna be seen again, and also would run in there all over knowing they would die.
I agree about the first responders but I was talking about the plane that hit the twin towers They were unlucky people going from Boston to LA
What was the complaint of the attackers ? The targets were symbolic : world trade , a global military , political leadership .
I just watched footage of today's memorial wall visit by Trump and Biden for flight 93 Trump presented a beautiful wreath of flowers on an easel. Good job Pres.
