The government has a way of being incompetent when it tries to prove that people are guilty of crimes. It also has a way of being incompetent when it tries to provide various services (such as health care) to the taxpayers who fork over their money to it. But when it comes to waging wars and to being secretive, this imo is the one area where the government actually excels.

I think it was Randolf Bourne (sp?) who once said that "war is the health of the state."

If you can believe that a few guys with box-cutters did it by highjacking a couple of airplanes, why can't you believe that a foreign government did it by sending in a team of undercover demolition experts while the buildings were temporarily vacated or "down" for routine maintenance ?

I mean, the plan was obviously doomed to failure, because there's no way that a couple of flimsy aluminum planes could have taken down those three (3) enormous buildings without receiving at least a good measure of help from our good ole' reliable friends "thermite" and "thermate" (and that's assuming that they could have gotten away with flying unmolested over some of the most heavily-guarded air space on earth). What are you trying to say ? Are you trying to say that "bin Laden" was able to plant "agents who hated our free-dum" on the inside of the World Trade Center, and that in the days and months that preceded the disaster, agents of "bin Laden" were getting paid "mucho dinero" ($$$$) to plant "thermite" or "thermate" on the inside of those buildings while they were temporarily vacated for routine maintenance ? It really is a tall tale, but if you think about it carefully, it's really no more idiotic than the story that was shoved down our throats by the so-called "mainstream newsmedia."

2. What well guarded airspace? Look at that plane this week that overshot it's airport by an hour and 1/2 because the pilots were arguing, they lost radio contact, 2 fighter jets were put on alert but never put into the air. There are thousands and thousands of planes in our skies at this very moment and those plants that day didn't even that far to go.

3. The twin towers were never fully evacuated for maintenance, maintenance on structures of that size and importance is ongoing 24/7, 365 a year.

Yes, but they don't make very effective bombs when you direct them against a couple of massive steel skyscrapers that were specifically designed to withstand them. If you were directing a couple of flimsy aluminum airplanes against five-story or ten-story apartment buildings, they would make fairly effective weapons, but they are totally impotent when you direct them against a couple of behemoth skyscrapers without the aid of thermite or thermate.

 

"9-11" was a definitive catalyzing agent in the so-called "war against terrorism" which was on the drawing board ever since the 1970s. It took a great deal of "chutzpah" to pull it off, not to mention resources, and a whole lot was at stake in the operation. The people who pulled it off could have EASILY threatened the engineering bodies that you're speaking of, but let's not forget that there ARE quite a few engineers who've written articles which expose the nonsense for what it is. Professor Stephen Jones is one of them.

 

If you ever look at a map of that area, you will discover that there are lots and lots of military bases, some of which are equipped with fast-moving fighter jets and all sorts of state-of-the-art military weaponry.

 

Yes ... and every single one of them is constantly being tracked not only by radar but also by vocal communications with Air Traffic Control.

No ... and contrary to what you're saying, those planes were literally flying all over the place after they shut off their transponders. So there was plenty of time for action on the part of NORAD and the domestic air defense system.

OK ... so it wasn't even necessary to evacuate the buildings in order to plant the thermite or thermate. In that case, they literally had all the time in the world in which to plant the explosives, simply by assigning their demolition experts in key positions in the building maintenance department.

 

The reports you probably saw were after the first terrorist bomb in the 90's that the buildings were totally evacuated for maintenance, but then again, this could be the, dun du dun! start of the conspiracy.

Yea, our airspace is really guarded, they lost contact for over an hour and didn't even send a fighter into the air. The 9/11 planes weren't even in the air for that long, and it was pre 9/11 when no one gave a fuck about anything. You know, despite what you think, the government doesn't like to shoot passenger planes out of the air without knowing what's going on.

And planes is vague, every time you say planes, the builders probably built for a small private plane. Or on the flip side maybe it was luck, you know the Titanic was built to withstand all kinds of damage, hell it's sister ship took a direct blow from the bow of a warship with a ram on it, and stayed afloat and under steam just fine, but a big chunk of ice sank the Titanic. What you don't seem to realize, apparently, is just how many people have been killed either directly or indirectly by the government over the years. Now, the same government that doesn't care one iota when it comes to the dropping of atomic bombs and napalm etc. on top of civilian populations, is the very same government that doesn't give a crap when it comes to the shooting down of civilian airplanes or the commission of mass murder like that which took place on the morning of 9-11-01.
