JUST GIVE IT A LIL TIME, The first several months of "Just take your time, find a place, get settled and don't kill yourself"... then POW this multi personality owner paints a great STORY, wait, fairy tale, or DREAM, or whatever you yourself may call your hopes and aspirations. They will be used to con all the free labor that can possibly be manipulated out of you. That's why there was Drama. THAT'S WHY every one is gone, the dictatorship agenda, and as long as you don't mind working your azz off and accounting for every hour of your day (by the way the only way she survives is off the free labor she cons out of everyone staying there) believe me it will be the highway before long. Yep drama was always the 'others', the ones that were here before us, and before them and before them and every group she replaces every year by manipulation, using, abusing, threatening or whatever works for the season. IT TOOK everyone MONTHS of witching with a b at her to get WATER available, and we didn't build on an 'OFF THE GRID' theme, just wanted to live simple uncomplicated lives, and all the criteria owner offered, changed up when things broke down for her and she had to bleed everyone else. JUST BE CAREFUL. Be willing to give all you got and get nothing in return. It's a dead zone, no negative or positive energy, no growth, no progress spiritually, emotinally, physically, population wise, productivity, prosperity, NOTHIN. DON'T BRING YOUR OWN IDEAS. It's not a commune, nothing community about it.....It's a dictatorship for one person's benefit only. The owner. OH, I noticed no pictures of the doorways used most, where all the crap, broken dreams, broken down equipment, broken tools etc are carefully left out of photos. By the way don't bring the kids. OTHERWISE, it's great, for ex cons, pedafiles, and anyone hiding from the law.

I could not agree more - I spent 6 months at this place and it was just terrible. Everything said here is pretty much true. I saw a small crew of like 6 people come and go, they left just like he said they did, including me. Only half were there for the right reason. The other half were there running from the law, thier own demons, or whatever.

One great moment was when the homeless fat disgutsting cow "teddy" had a melt down from her daily handful of phsyco-active "happy pills" and fired off a round with a 9mm pistol, just out of freaking anger, and the bullet went flying about 100 ft over my head. When I complained about it, the man-hating femminazi sandra S. swept the whole thing uder the rug and tried to whoosh it away , very much becuase she was so dependednt on the $$$ the homeless fat lady was giving her from her SSSI check for her extreme psycotic state.

There are many many moments I remember that made me shake my head and tell myself " I need to get out of this mess" but i tried to stick it out. Sanddra S. isn't a total feminazi all the time, only like 2/3 of the time.

She is way, way, way over her head with this place. She's totally broke, people are chasing her to pay the bills. She creates all sorts of drama there all the time, including the stuff i mentioned above about the bullet flying over my head. And then she just ignored my getting a bit pissed off about it.

He's right. Stay far, far, far away from this place. It's false advertising, very misleading advertising.

The thing that did it in totally for me was when she had the foul litle God-hating, man-hating little pedophile lesbian there who was a child-molester and who bragged about it. One day at one of the very foul " group meals" , (which I avaoided like the freaking plauge) the little smirking , god-hating bitch shouted out , when asked to lead a simple prayer for the meal "FUCK GOD".... which made me just speechless. After shaking my head and picking my jaw off the ground, I asked the little child-molester what she had just said, she again shouted in my face with a big smirk "FUCK GOD"... if that was not bad enough, not a sinlge person at that table even had the balls to say a word. I Made up my mind that this was it, I needed to get out of this bunch of aitheists, and pagans and devil worshipers.

A few days later I got into a bit of a scrap with the little lesbian child-molester and called her a scumbag, at which point she punched me in the nose. In pure self defense, i grabbed the little nasty bitch in a serious choke hold to stop her. At that point the pro-God-hating- pro child molester- pro pagan, pro homeless psyhco, pro feminazi Sandra S hit me with somehting like a baseball bat and threatened to throw all my stuff out at 4 PM if I wasn't off "her property" I had a local cop there in 15 mins to tell her to back off or I'd have her arrested on the spot for breaking and entering my room ( not even counting the aggrevated battery with a deadly weapon - the bat)

I'm not making any of this up. This is just 2 of like a dozen hair -raising stories I could share that all did in fact happen. She fucked over this one decent young guy, AJ, who was forced to leave ALL his stuff on her foul little farm, IT's still there a year later. She treaed him like shit. Poor guy.

Oh yeah, she was always bragging about how great an "organic gardener " she was. Her gardens were pretty pathetic. I grew better ones years ago.

Listen well, all, listen very well - STAY AWAY fron the "84 acre" fantasy - you'll regret going there. The place is hopeless from any angle.

IF any one is interested in the whole story, just reply here. I feel an obligation to warn any and all others.

Now, for those who are there now and haven't been pissed on by the whole scene or the incompetent Sandra S, well good for you. You ARE THE EXCEPTION. But many mostly likely couldn't wait to get the heck out of there. I wasted like 6 months there and really regret going there.

I expect that Sandra S will make some real lame reply to this. It will be all BS and CYA now that one of her victims came out and shared some of the truth.

A CLEAR MESSAGE TO ALL. GO ONTO THE NEXT "IC".. this "84 Acre" fatasy is a fucking joke.

    The REAL CHAINSAW CHARLEY

I am very interested. Are you still looking for members? I am looking for a place to settle and would love to come and check it out. I am into fiber arts and needlecraft and working with wood and various media in my art.
Where I am at is not a good place. No Peace. Have a place to go but it is a big city and I do not do well in big cities. I do not drive though and so have no car. I may be able to get a ride.

Experiences at the Farm may vary, may very well prove to that individual the very things others have warned about will in fact be the case for them.

But thats the thing about community, thats what it is, and a community requires the proper elements for it to function correctly and when those things are not present the community save some miracle or intervention will indeed fail.

Others who go may actually go better prepared,,, not just with money, not just with some grand notions of living collectively with others and understanding what that means without selfishness but with all the tools needed and knowing how to use them properly without blowing out a main bearing because nobody bothered to check the oil, people who are aware of common sense things for that environment, you are in a situation where if the item you have breaks it may be a very long while if ever before it gets replaced, read manuals, follow instructions, dont rush through things the first time you attempt them because you're in a hurry to go eat that whole gallon of fudge swirl ice cream bought for everyone to share after the end of a hot day in the garden,,,, yea you know who I'm talkin' at...

Communication is also key, so if you have issues hearing those around you and they have difficulty communicating things to you, it makes for a very difficult and troublesome exchange to say the least.

Just be responsible and aware of how easy and often it is that selfish or egocentric actions can have negative consequenses for all involved, if everyone can manage this then there is always hope, but all is lost without...

And keep raking those damn leaves Sam!! :D "Happy holidays" Hope you're doing ok.

Have talked with Sandra on the phone and through emails for several months now. She does Not seem like the person that is being portrayed by some people in this thread. I have also talked with a few people that spent time there and none said anything about this Dictatorship, etc, etc. If it was not a right fit you should have just left and let that be it. I plan on heading out to The Farm in the coming month!

Right but keep in mind thinking can open your mind. So i have to say thats terrible advise! Use your thaughts for your purcuit of knowledge, and being self efficient is nessesary to continue evalution and is nessasary for life to continue to exist. We are to dependant on our government and the market we create growth we have to except that luxury is in the eye of the beholder in order to understand what it is we really need....

Sounds like a nice place. I may want to come for a visit sometime in the future. I am looking to join or form a community but it will be a while before I can. If you would like to put up a post/ad on a 'intentional community forum' I have put together please feel to do so. http://allaboutintentionalc.forumotion.com/
I have just put this forum together and have onlly a few members so it may be awhile before the community grows. But if it can bring people together that share some of the same interest like this forum does, it will have served it's purpose.
I do hope we all get to where we want to be.

Hey Fritz, I just recently stumbled to this forum in my search of a path for me and my two brothers. We are so sick of what our society is doing to those who work so hard for a better world. Anyway, If its cool I would like for us to come up and visit perhaps camp out for a weekend or something. We will bring our own supplies and we are nothing but respect. My partners are very outdoor savvy and I carry my netbook and network to help figure technical shit out. But we are willing to help work on projects, get dirty or whatever it be to do the normal everyday of your community. Perhaps if you like us and we feel we found home we can go from there. If not, I live pretty close by I think, and im down to meet friends and if anything is needed I would not mind to help support in anyway cause I feel what you all are doing is a great thing. If you get this, email back with directions or whats up to RNoles912@gmail.com. Not to rush but sooner the better cause we are actually planning a camping trip this month.

Well perhaps it's time for Spirit Wynd to re-edit the initial post to reflect that I am in fact, no longer at the farm.

At this point in time I suspect Sam herself would be the best person to contact regarding the current visitation process.

Wow, this seems to be the exact type of community I'm looking for. I have been looking for a place I can move to, and work each week for my spot in the community.
