America , is finished ! It will not stand . There has been a covert revolution going on in America for over 40 years . Class warfare , when the rich elite declared war on and now has systematically wiped out most of the middle class . However there own greed also cut their own throat . Because the middle class was the anchor and backbone of America . We paid all the taxes , did all the labor , and held America together .
In the end it will be said that greed , apathy and selfishness destroyed America from within . The greatest country in the history of the world brought to its knees because the rich elite at the top want the whole pie for themselves , every fucking crumb . And the militant poor at the bottom that want everything handed to them .
America was an industrial giant , that has been sold out piece by piece by the very people we elect to represent us . All of congress are now paid whores to big business lobbyist . When we stopped electing representatives , and started electing career politicians and not holding them accountable for there actions we were done . When we let illegal aliens stream across our open boarders take our jobs , while paying no taxes and usurping our taxable emergency services and social security , we were done . When we started to buy cheap foreign made goods in the 70 's , and let our companies move to third world countries for their own greed . Then let them sell their products back in America , we were finished . When we began living on credit instead of cash , we were finished . When we tought our children that the only thing that matters is materialistic possessions , we were finished .
What i will NEVER understand is why we as Americans never see our true enemy . The class system run and ruled over by the rich ruling elite class , at the top of the ladder . While we sit at the bottom divided among ourselves and fighting each other to the death over petty shit like politics , race , religion ,union or anti union . We blame each other at the bottom and never look up the ladder at our true enemy the rich .
And it's not just us , they are now taking the world over as well . We are going back into serfdom ,bondage, and feudalism . Because we are so divided and selfish we will not stand together as one and start a real revolution . I'm afraid now it will never come , and it has to . This house of cards MUST be allowed to fall , and only then can we begin to build a less tyrannic government .
What I fear though is revolution isn't coming to America , another civil war is . Between our two party system . The conservative right and the liberal left . We no longer see ourselves as Americans first , we see our small special interests first . Like political party , race , social class . We should have stood up long ago , but we didn't . There is NO EASY PAIN FREE WAY OUT NOW .
Though we all now that there are many political parties in the united states , in reality there are only two . They are rep. and dem. and both are now controlled owned , bought and paid for by big business and their interests . Puppets on a string . We must stop believing they are serving the peoples best interests , cause the evidence shows by the shape our countries in . They are serving another master , and it's not us !
United we stand together, divided we fall ! What's sad is As children we were told that America's greatest strength was her diversity . The great melting pot . How ironic it is when it's diversity is now tearing it apart . Diversity should make us stronger as one , not tear us apart in splinter cells . We are American's first at least we should be .
Anyone who labors in the United States , deserves a living wage . To meet the basic cost of living , which is sky rocketing out of control . No one should be homeless , hungry or below poverty , as long as they are willing to work . We have a God given responsibility to advance the whole human race , not just some privileged few . Why any man takes and wants more then he needs , i will never understand . How can anyone justify being rich today when 3/4 of the world lives in abstract poverty , misery . and are now going hungry . It's about being a responsible human being . It's time for the old hooray for me , fuck everyone else mentality to end ! Greed , pride and ego will be man's downfall !

To James Brown yep, that is all we pay. This land was wooded when we bought it, and we built our own house. There are no county resources out here ie; water, sewage so the taxes are very low. We also bought in the poorest county in OH on purpose. Again, because of the tax rate. We pay 167.36 a month for 8.5 acres which we have built a 1200 sq ft house.

We have gladly given up some of the perks of living in a more populated area for the peace of mind that comes with living below your means. We carry no debt except that payment.

To Papa,I believe you are correct on many points there. However, Unions HAVE turned into big business. Public sector unions collect tons in union dues and throw a LOT of it behind the candidate that they in turn can master. You give me votes, I look out for you. The rich, as a whole are not the enemy.
Government built on greed is. When you have a NAFTA agreement going that opens the door to making it cheaper for business to operate in other countries all the while having the second highest corporate tax structure in the US...well it just makes sense to move your big business overseas. And this is actually going to change very soon as Japan has just announced they will be cuting their corporate tax rate by 15%.
A capitalist country cannot operate efficiently and provide jobs when it has a government that is working against the people who create businesses and jobs.
To "have the right to work" is a moot right if there are no jobs.
To create an environment where it is beneficial for people to start businesses, to invest in business there has to be a payoff. There has to be room to grow and profit.

Big government= big regulation and big taxes. That is just logic.
The two party system, along with a congress and senate, was set up as a checks and balances system, however special interests, back door deals and secret passage of bills has made it a mockery.
And now we have generations who think they have a right to being taken care of by that government. Entitlement programs that are not paid into, are not self sustaining.
A public work sector that is funded by a tax base that is growing smaller due to people losing jobs and homes is not self sustainable.
Raising taxes on people who own businesses or who make over a certain amount, will drive those businesses to other sates where taxes are lower. Or it will just put them out of business.
Larry drove a truck, and he would work overtime, but when he got to a certain point in the overtime, the pay put him into another tax bracket so it was not worth it to work that much overtime. Same thing. If you push me, I will push back.

People that yell revolution...well I do not get their end result....what is the end result?
If you are against the rich, is it communism you want? Where everyone is reduced to working for the "common good" and its all thrown in a pot and everyone gets their paltry sum at the end of the week and no one is allowed to break out of their mold and have an original idea?
Or to say anything against the State? Ask all those that tried that under Mao...oh thats right you can't. they were killed.

Or we could be socialist's, you know "From each according to his ability, To each, according to his need"...we already have a form of this in the US and we have those who are trying to sway our country more and more in this direction. Thing is, just as the people who work in this country and pay taxes are already getting fed up with large entitlement programs to support those who choose not to work, less and less people will be willing to work more to take care of those who only take.
I am all for helping people who need some help. But "help" should not become a way of life.

So what is the end result when all the revolution smoke clears?

This country needs to get back to basics. A flat tax should be implemented, eventually leading to no federal income tax.
States should implement a tax system that would benefit the growth of their state. Local government should be as small as possible and take care of services with a payscale everyone adheres to.
Prisons should be as self sustainable as possible, with laws enforced that have been voted on by the people. Truth in sentencing. And get the damn cellphones and weightlifting equipment out of there for heavens sake.
Schools should be privatized without federal government influence.

Oh and to the person saying that I should just not pay the part of my taxes I do not agree with....you obviously do not understand how property taxes work.

Okay, I've said my piece on this. I know I am in no way popular with the liberal crowd. And that is fine.
Maybe one day when the shit does come down, you will wish to contact me about coming out here where we will be a bit safer and fed. I check my PM's every few months. We will have room for a few that would be willing to pitch in.

A flat tax is hilariously regressive unless you don't tax the first $60,000 of income.

You literally have a hard on for a world where if you aren't born rich or don't come up with a brilliant idea you will basically starve to death.

And yet you oppose NAFTA because it hurts Americans, your own philosophies are what makes NAFTA bad. The opposite of NAFTA is your nanny state, NAFTA makes people have to as you say stand on their own

Literally every government program is fully sustainable if people get over the ARGH TAXES, CUT THEM NOW fetish solution for every single problem.

I honestly don't know what to think about this union thing. Everything about me idealistically points in the direction of supporting the unions. Power to the people, let them be heard.

BUT!! I was born in a dead steel town that was once a beautiful prospering lively town ful of culture and divercity and a thriving downtown area.

The unions killed it with their greed. They kept asking for more and more, and when they didn't get what they wanted, they went on strike. They bit the hand that fed them until it shrivled up and died.

And this happened all over the country. Unions are why we outsourse all our shit to countries where they still know that the only effective way to build throughout the history of mankind has been on the backs of the working class.

It's a complicated issue, and I just don't know what to think. I think it's wrong that the rich and powerful own us all... but poor people are fucking greedy too.

My hometown is just a fucking ghetto now. Every steel town has become a ghetto because the best way for a city to make money without any industry once so ever is to offer section 8 housing.

in night school, many years ago, a project we were assigned was to write a presentation with charts, graphics, etc.. on 'What Happened to International Harvester?'. I had so many index cards, i had to dedicate a briefcase to them from the research. we interviewed union, management and employees.

the conclusion? every swinging dick (or other genitalia) had a hand in ruining Harvester. The union management was greedy...they gave themselves big salaries based on what they got from management. the employees were greedy-they wanted more benefits, more pay, less work. management was lazy...instead of protecting the business, they caved to union and employees because 'it was easier'...and then they voted themselves raises, despite their complete abrogation of their duty to protect and manage the business for the stockholders, employees and society. after all, if the business dies, EVERYONE loses. well, some more than others...the managers and union leaders walked off with golden parachutes in some cases.

the perception 'this business/state/organization is here to benefit only ME!!!!' is the problem. it is human nature, i think....self survival...'you first, Jack, after me.'. the blame is stretchy enough in wisconsin, i imagine, to cover everyone. the same applies to the country as a whole...the voters continue to vote for two dead and useless 'parties' (take note of that word) who put forth dead and useless candidates with the perspective stated above...

'why do you want to be a representative, ms. x?'

    'to serve the country.'

yep...and then they vote themselves big raises, big benefits and fancy offices. they lie. we lie when we go along with it because it's easy to go along to get along. i believe that that shit is DONE...y'all hide n watch.

the governor of wisconsin is likely wrong on some counts, but, by god, he is doing what the voters said they wanted. is he targeting some unions who opposed him? i don't know. maybe. so what. start somewhere...anywhere! if they opposed him, it's because they knew he was going to get in their pocketbook. they've been in the taxpayers' pocketbooks....and don't want to get out. maybe he's wrong, but at least he's trying SOMETHING, rather than 'business as usual'. see what b.a.u. has gotten us all? 47 fukkin states in the red....

This is fun, this is what the nation's largest news network is literally telling people on prime time, The Wisconsin protests are connected to a communist China plot to turn America into the next part of the Muslim revolution to create an Islamic state. Oh and also standard Obama is the antichrist.

It's no longer a political issue . It's a moral issue . There are no morals , values , ethics or standards in the world today . Greed and selfishness from the top to the bottom . Until all people the rich and poor alike begin to take personal responsibility for their own actions . And begin to demand better and hold accountable the people responsible for the destruction of their nation . All is lost . And I tell you right now the first step is getting control back of the media and putting an end to the filth and destruction Hollywood is having on our culture ! One of our biggest problems and part of the break down of the American family lies right there . Look at the immoral degenerates we are idolizing , worshiping and letting our children look up to . It's a breeding ground for destruction . America must choose better leaders with moral compasses pointing in the right direction and not spinning like a top .

The American family is a wet dream of people who live in a past that never happened. For example, same sex couples don't fit into the normal American family model, yet apparently children of lesbian couples do better in near every aspect of teenage life than their heterosexual counterparts.

"Family morals" are a crock. Some of the most dysfunctional families I've ever met are what on the outside seemed like normal, middle class, standard nuclear suburban families.

America lost its choice to choose leaders since JFK was killed. The voting system has not existed, its an illusion. I don't know how to get the power back so the people can vote in until the current leaders are killed.

Step 1: make people actually interested in politics
Step 2: Have more than 9% of registered voters turn out to the primaries
Step 3: Have run off voting
Step 4: Watch awesome things happen

Man there's basically the closest thing to a battle the US is going to have and no one is talking about it.

    Well so far what's happened:
The lower house of the state assembly managed to pass the bill in what is probably the most illegal way ever possible. But it's not illegal because damn if the house leader will enforce the rules of the house. Basically out of nowhere the leader opened the vote, and closed it almost as fast. Democrats were literally looking around bewildered not quite sure of what had just happened as debate had been going on for 60 hours, and another 16 people were lined up to speak, the vote basically lasted all of a 30 seconds. In fact here it is:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZALlaMA9b0"]YouTube - Abruptly taken vote on Budget Repair Bill in Wisconsin State Assembly (2/25)
(watch it, it's hilariously evil and illegal)

So to sum up, the vote took place:
While a majority of democrats were out of room.
While many people were queued to speak and debate.
While some people were demanding to speak.
Involving Republicans voting on behalf of their members who weren't in the room.

Meanwhile the house leaders ordered the police to clear the protesters from the state building, so the police marched in..................and immediately joined the protesters. Keep in mind the police union was exempt in the bill from losing it's collective bargaining rights, so they had nothing to lose.

And here's an article from forbes, freakin Forbes, detailing how the governor is full of shit
    http://blogs.forbes.com/rickungar/2...ntribute-nothing-to-public-employee-pensions/

    *edit*
More feel good news, Keith Ellison, representative from Minnesota in the federal House just purchased $3,000 worth of pizza for the protesters in Wisconsin.

Ohio rams similar bill through their senate

    http://northcoastnow.com/2011/03/02/ohio-senate-committee-passes-sb-5-will-move-to-senate-floor/

tl;dr: The bill didn't have enough votes to pass committee, so this morning the chair of the committee removed a Republican opponent and replaced him with a Republican supporter. The bill cleared the senate committee, and then was stopped in another committee (still trying to find a source) where they again removed a Republican who opposed the bill. Then finally it was smashed through into the Ohio Senate, where it passed with a 17-16 vote.

This all comes hot off the heels of a massive 100-page amendment to a 500-page bill on Monday. Our senate isn't even doing their proper jobs and reviewing these bills; they're smashing them through the system as fast as they can as there was no possible way anyone could have taken the time to properly analyze and digest a 600-page document in less than 12 hours.

The bill is basically certain to pass the House where Republicans have a 59-40 majority.

How hilariously evil this is all becoming is fantastic. The Ohio senate took a lesson from Wisconsin and basically rammed the bill through their senate at light speed, killing members of their own party along the way who stood in the way. They even pre-empted any future serious action by outlawing strikes by public workers.

Yeah you're right . I think however it's going to hit a whole new level when it hits New Jersey . As far as union labor , Jersey is not Wisconsin ! It's a whole other beast the more North you go . With New York there as well should prove interesting .

Every labor union in the country should have been busing in their members to Wisconsin . In a defiant show of power and solidarity . In my opinion they had the chance to stop the nonsense in its tracks . Because if labors voice was loud enough , and so many streamed into Wisconsin to effectively shut the streets down around the capital . Every other governor thinking of following suit , would have to think twice about it . It was a missed opportunity .

One has to wonder if labor is dead in the United States . With division and split up of the AFL/CIO , a divided house will not stand . I think to some degree labor is its own worst enemy . It never changed with the times , and in my opinion has sold out to some degree and just become big business . The collective bargaining agreements have become jokes , and contracts have been written to give all the power and rights to employers . To some extent it's taxation without representation .

Some experts have suggested that the only way unions will survive is to drop their local union autonomy and individuality . In other words only one big union . No more brick layers local , or distillers , or steel workers . Just one big union . With one cause all together in solidarity .

It's a logical step . Ironically the first labor union in America before the afl/cio , was the knights of labor , which was started as a secret society ,was set up as one big union . It was based on worker co-ops . In which the worker/ member was an equal share partner , and all the profits being distributed to the members paycheck equally . There was no boss or robber baron living on their back to make money or profit for . Imagine what this could have done to dismantle the ruling class ! If it had thrived . It did thrive , but was eventually replaced by the AFL/CIO . big mistake to labor and the working class ! Their motto was " an injury to one , is an injury to all "
It also believed in no strikes ! Because it believed that strikes only created hardship and misery to the worker and employer . How ironic that today to the general public the union worker is seen as greedy . It's a direct result of strikes , that gives union a black eye in society till this very day !

Worker co/ops should be the next rebirth for union labor . Unfortunately that lies in direct contrast to todays unions and their sell out leaders .

Look at the power the trade guilds and stone masons once held . They were their own employers , workers and society .

    Showdown in Wisconsin:

Court to Scott Walker: Open the capital to protesters again by 8a.m tomorrow or be found in contempt of court.

Scott Walker to Democrats: Either I get my bill tomorrow or I start shooting hostages, errr, I mean firing teachers.

Tune in tomorrow for epic epicness.
