nah, just nice for a change... he's not a regular that I read... just an occasional... I read nicholas sparks and some tom robbins etc... Herman Wouk is nice too...
im an avid reader(surprised?) and stephen king is a fucking genius. The way he can portray people and thier thoughts n emotions is unparralled int he writing world.

Saying that King is good is just like saying that Grisham is good. His books are accecible since they are so brainless and simple that the entire public can enjoy him. He is doing a good thing, just like the Harry Pothead series, it encourages idiots to read. Other than that... the writting itself is weak, just like the Hollywood movies which were made out of the books. I highly dislike all Clancy, King, Grisham, Rollings, Tolkein, etc movies... they are plainly romantic in nature.
