I'm not so sure if it's a matter of maturity when comparing the 2 generations. The youth of the 60's rebelled against an oppressive social climate that helped to open many doors. Maybe the changes brought on by the 60's made things too easy. Not taking into account the economy of the last couple years, of course. The youth of today grew up in a totally different social clime. The 60's youth had racial discrimination, women's rights and Viet Nam working as a glue to hold them together. But, what the hell do I know. :p

No. His parents need to be beaten for not putting some discipline and structure into his life and for letting him live on WoW. And for letting the younger one be the antagonizing little asshat with the video camera. But the younger one is funny as shit.

This is very contemptuous- and can easily be construed as a personal attack on everyone who posted in this thread.... so why DID you post it... to "show" us how much better you are?

Peace? You fire a volley then figure "peace" will just magically negate the disrespect you spew? You have information? Great! Share it... but your attitude is going to shut otherwise open minds to what you have to say... and you reported the poster who challenged you on it as a troll. I guess it takes one to know one -eh?

And no, I'm NOT going to do anything about it because from where I sit you got exactly what you had coming. It's free speech and I did NOT see any attack on you that wasn't unprovoked. Can't take the response? Then learn to pick your words more carefully and then you might just realize there's meaning to that empty "peace" tag line you cheapen.

Oh I wish I was a punk rocker with flowers in my hair
In 77 and 69 revolution was in the air
I was born too late into a world that doesn't care
Oh I wish I was a punk rocker with flowers in my hair

When the head of state didn't play guitar,
    Not everybody drove a car,
When music really mattered and when radio was king,
    When accountants didn't have control
And the media couldn't buy your soul
And computers were still scary and we didn’t know everything

    [Chorus]

When pop-stars still remained a myth
And ignorance could still be bliss
And when God Saved the Queen she turned a whiter shade of pale
When my mom and dad were in their teens
And anarchy was still a dream
And the only way to stay in touch was a letter in the mail

    [Chorus]

When record shops were still on top
And vinyl was all that they stocked
And the super info highway was still drifting out in space
Kids were wearing hand me downs,
And playing games meant kick around

And footballers still had long hair and dirt across their face

    [Chorus]

I was born too late to a world that doesn't care
Oh I wish I was a punk rocker with flowers in my hair
