Watch these three videos in order. I see this kind of crap in my middle class suburban neighborhood every day, from ages 6 to 20. This is what comes of no structure or discipline.

I'm not so sure if it's a matter of maturity when comparing the 2 generations. The youth of the 60's rebelled against an oppressive social climate that helped to open many doors. Maybe the changes brought on by the 60's made things too easy. Not taking into account the economy of the last couple years, of course. The youth of today grew up in a totally different social clime. The 60's youth had racial discrimination, women's rights and Viet Nam working as a glue to hold them together. But, what the hell do I know.
