    Yes it was a half-century ago that the most famous protest of all time, with the possible exception of Kent State, took place outside the 1968 Democratic Convention. Keep in mind that if the current situation doesn't change you might see something similar at the 2020 Republican Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina.

    Was listening to this on Democracy Now! this morning.
    Apparently there had been a large... and very rough demonstration at the rnc as well that year and that didn't recive much coverage..... Didn't even know about that until this morning.
