50 Dead In Orlando Terror Attack

They say this is terrorism. The gunman seems to have ties to Islamic terrorism. The FBI is investigating.

A gunman opened fire in a night club in Orlando. He was shot dead by police.

Karen, I'm seeing it reported as the deadliest mass shooting in American history. It's not specifying "Gay".

 

It happened at a gay nightclub.

Makes you wonder now if you can even go to a nightclub without getting shot. They don't know if this is a terror plot or not. I think it must be.

I think one of the employees had a firearm, but the Muslim grabbed a hostage so nothing could be done. Maybe if more were holding not so many would have died. I can't get over the number of people killed. That seems unreal.

 

The gunman was identified as Omar Mateen, Rep. Alan Grayson said during a Sunday morning press conference. Mateen was a U.S. citizen, Grayson said, though that was "not true of other family members of his." Mateen, 29, lived in Fort Pierce, Fla. The headline changed as the death toll went up. The first number was 20, and more than 20 straight people have been shot and killed in a single incident. Now we're at 50, and climbing.

How many hours will it be before the NRA says that everybody in the club should have been required to have a gun with them? They always say the solution to any gun problem is more guns.


This is like the intersection between terrorism and a hate crime, because Islamic fundamentalists are taught that gay people should receive the death penalty. The evil motherfucker didn't pick this club at random.

 

How about the FBI does there job! They should know by now it's the quiet ones.

That's because it just happened. For example people still go to the cinema like they used to as well. Probably even when the new Batman is coming out. Apparently there is a shooting every week in your country. If you live with that knowledge overly conscious it could ruin your life without ever getting close to a shooting That would be just as big of a loss imo

i actually havent been to the movies since that happened. I never really liked the movie theater but that kind of solidified my resolve against them.
