I bought America flag memorabilia for work.

I'm at a clothing store now, and we're selling independence day garb...

I still have my job at the bookkeeping office, but I wanted a second job. And they gave it to me!

I have a black t-shirt with an American flag on it from work (not my first choice. I wanted white, but they ran out...) and flag socks!

happy traffic jam setting the world on fire in the hottest dryest time of the year day. happy fourth jeweled lie.
but then agian, again a country that claims to have always wanted to do the right thing, with a majority of population who do.
happy country is still there day, dispite all the biggots and criminals who hate logic, consideration, civilization and freedom,
who are still whining about failing to destroy enough to turn it into some kind of dictatorship under their god emperor penoccio of mired logo.

well it is worth celebrating that we a have a country that is still there, that it wasn't overthrown by people who say freedom but never ask the next question what they are talking about.
i've always been skeptical about patriotism as a concept. but having seen worse things and having seen coming parilously close to them,
i feel i can join with my jewish relatives and indiginous people i have known in that old wonderful holiday saying: "thy tried to kill us, we're still here, lets eat."

(lovely forested mountainsides and little furry creaturs, but gah, that awful color scheme, and being typical of the flags of many nations doesn't help)
