    why is it called 48 hours?

    The TV show is called "48 Hours" because they typically show 48 hours in the life/lives of (insert subject name here).

    they do? to me it just seems like they investigate crimes & stuff, no matter what time frame, but i dunno, i sorta get what your saying, you might be right...

    I think that was the original premise of the show. Or I may just be thoroughly confused. Let's ask Mr. Owl....
