I've attended one Queens Day before, in 2001. It was a last minute trip and we ended up staying at the airport. There was a mini-riot (dogs and all) at Centraal St that killed the trains until after midnight (did not know that at 9PM), and we were leaving the next morning. With no ride back, we ended up lucking into a taxi outside the Radisson/Rusland and felt damn fortunate.
This QD will be much better.
My last visit was over this past New Years, so time for that funny feeling of having just visited...but does this shit ever get old?

I'm proud to say that despite me not remembering how many Amsterdam trips I have under my belt I do remember my first canal cruise, with the Pigs of course.

However, it could have been the 'shroom laced chocolate that someone, who for the moment, shall remain nameless, slipped me.

 

you must feel like a lucky person, I wish someone would give me free chocolate mushrooms on queens day. that person must be really cool. I hear that stuff isn't cheap. lmao

 

Thank's for the heads up Skip, just the type of info I like and use. I'm more of a hash lover when I'm in Amsterdam. Just can't get it anymore here in the northeast like it was in the past. Use to be around all the time in the 70's.
