Thank you for your very kind concern! I am still alive and ticking, but a nasty strep throat - has reduced me to a near invalid. And I never ever have sex! So I hope all of you will never take your health for granted: Antibiotics (and a fever of 104), really made me focus on the necessary stuff of life. Hell, just getting out of bed was a miracle.

But I am happy to say I am on the mend. And I thank all the kind ones that wondered if I had fallen off the face of the earth. Good or bad - I am still here. Thank you for noticing my mysterious lack of posts. You are true sweet hearts.

Yesterday I:

1. Went shopping for a friends birthday and came back empty handed.
2. Worried about silly things.
3. Drank lot's of tea again.

 

Thank you, TG What in the world would we do without our comforting cups of tea?

 

The day is young but so far:

1. Biked to work, composing a thread about QueerPoets absence.

2. Discovered QueerPoet is still with us - much relieved. (coincidence?)

3. Working (well, when I log off here I will be)

 

1. Made up schoolwork I forgot to do
2. Wrote a pro-choice essay
3. Listened to some awesome music

 

I have pretty much the same Sunday Routine.

1. Did my laundry early before other tenants get up.
You know everything I wear is blue - even my laundry lint is blue.



2. Ran to the store to get the Sunday paper while clothes in dryer.



3. Hit the Web while deciding what I really want to do today.




You know my life is sooo routine I have recorded it in file fotos. This one a year old is exactly the same today. Been wearing cutoff shorts for the past 40 years.

Except that right now I am not wearing the cutoff shorts - I'm sitting here naked. Even have a pic of that but can't post it here.

Guess I am a rock of stability in a changing world.

 

It's kinda early, so I'll use yesterday:
Go to school
Go grocery shopping with my mom
Looked at Twilight tee shirts online

 

1. Played in the garden.
2. Bought some new incense and a necklace.
3. Made a salad and sat in the garden reading Oscar Wilde.

 

I love Oscar Wilde, what were you reading out of interest?


But yeah, I have done this

- watched the football
- learned some guitar
- now I am watching Gladiator on sky and really enjoying it.

 

I'm re-reading The Picture of Dorian Gray.

A lot of people I have said that to, have never read anything from him!

 

I've read quite a few things of his, though that was his only novel. One of my favourite lines in any book is from Dorian Gray

'There is only one thing in the world worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about'

So true.

 

1. Went out with the dog before 7am.
2. Went to Camden to meet a friend for lunch.
3. Planned to have people over later today to help throw paint around.

 

So far today.
1. Woke up really early and went for a long walk in the rain.
2. Lay on the ground listening to music which reminded me of India.
3. Realised that I don't particularly like cooked mushrooms, yet I keep eating them

 

1; dug a footing for a new garage and unloaded 30 bags of concrete at 80lbs a bag.

2; ate vicodin and wished to hell someone else had unloaded the concrete

3; Spent quality time in the outdoor shower washing off that damn nasty concrete
dust and chasing the goofy-ass dog outta the shower.

 

1. Sat outside listening to music.
2. Looked for flights.
3. Sat outside some more.

 

1. Realised that since QueerPoet has been ill, I'm the only one who seems to post here.
2. Then realised that Shale has even abandoned the place
3. Made a plea for people to come back!

 

Oh, I'm here and really wish I could contact QueerPoet and see how he is doing.


What I did today:


1. goofed off on the computer - collecting and saving nudie pix.

2. Went to the Cineplex to see one of two movies this weekend. Splice was the one playing when I arrived. Good movie.

3. Biked back home in a little rain, then heard on the news how it was flooded where I was earlier. Wrote my Movie Blurb on Splice during the rainstorm.

3. Meditated
