Wow, that is sweet. Wish I had one. Srsly, I have been fighting with myself not to get another bike. Had one 35 years ago - prolly too old to ride one cross country again, but the wish is there.

    OH, on topic:

    1. Got up too damn early today
    2. Biked to work (pedal bike, not like TipsyGypsy's :()
    3. Sitting here at the computer goofing off at lunch, wishing I could go home.

Alas, I got totally soaked the other day (it's still the rainy season here), so my damn cold is back full force. But there are advantages to being a temporary invalid.

    1. Reading tons of books. Mostly poetry and biographies. Billy Collins is a really cool poet. And I just started a new biography about the remarkable life and strange death of Heath Ledger.

    2. Picked up another box of Theraflu. Plus lots of OJ and bottled water.

    3. Going to watch FEMALE TROUBLE (an early John Waters flick). I found the DVD at the library. :D

You're in the Pacific Northwest - when is it NOT rainy season? I hear vampires live there just to avoid the sun.

OH sorry to hear about your cold. Take it easy, drink all that fluid and enjoy the books & movies.

    My Three Things:

    1. Biked to work this morning in shorts and T-shirt, but was a little too cool. I am so tired of this cold weather. I live in Miami Beach - enuf already!!

    2. Spent the day at work, but my heart and ambition are not into it.

    3. Got home and put together a composit foto of me and my bike, using paper paste-up technique. I think it looks pretty good as an old foto reproduction.

Actually, not many people know this - but it can get very hot and sunny - during June, July, August, and September (in the rainy Pacific Northwest). That's when all the vampires get out of town. :D

Thanks for the good wishes. I'm sure I'll survive. The books and movies are a big help. FEMALE TROUBLE made me laugh so much - I ended up having a long coughing fit. :D

I totally like the pic of you and your bike: It looks like the real deal. :) How did you manage it? Was the process a difficult one?

Nah, just trial & error with my employers laserjet printer. Isolated me standing from a scanned foto I had. The bike has another guy standing behind it, so I used that as my base, cut out my pic and pasted it over him. Then I took my Adobe "clone" feature to clean it up. Almost like working in a darkroom getting composit pix.

    Today I:

    1. Pissed off a Hip Forums member in another thread.
    2. Biked to the Cineplex and saw Repo Men.
    3. Gonna write a Movie Blurb and post it here in New Movies.

Billy Collins is great! His work is both simple and profound. Let me know what you think. :)
