I was going to go to the beach today but got diverted.

    1. Bought plane tickets for my visit to Missouri in June (gonna stay at my sister's place while she goes on a Caribbean cruise with her adult children)

    2. Biked to the grocery store in the hot humid weather, 85 degrees.

    3. Cleaned my apartment because I may have a visitor sometime this week. (Michel is coming back to town from Italy and we both look forward to hooking up).

I'm glad for you. I've never been to Olive Garden - is the food really good? Anyway, it's awesome to share a meal with someone you are fond of. :)

    Yesterday

    1. Had to suffer gladly an hour long meeting with a member of my "relocation" team.

    2. Found a really cool bookcase at Goodwill for $15 (actually carried it home). And just when I needed one most. :2thumbsup:

    3. Picked up a bunch of hold items at the library: There's one especially awesome CD I can't wait to listen to: It's the original PEARL sessions (Janis Joplin). I'll get to hear several takes of the songs on the album, plus Janis talking to her producer and band members between takes. :sunny:

Whenever I go out to eat it is usually at Olive Garden because I really like Italian food and can get a vegetarian meal, usually ravioli with marinara and a salad. Plus a glass of red wine with the meal. I think the food is good and reasonably priced.

However, I know it is an American franchise so IDK how real Italians would rate it. Michel said the food was good and that it is Southern Italy cuisine. Seems we ended up at an Italian restaurant on my birthday also, but it was more authentic on Lincoln Road.

Well, today I am just getting up and having coffee, but YESTERDAY, Michel (my friend who lives in Italy but comes here often) spent the whole day together like old friends. He was looking for an armband ipod holder for when he jogs so we went shopping at several places in three cities in Miami-Dade county. He's got another rental Mustang convertible.

    1. We drove to Aventura Mall then to Bayside Mall in downtown Miami.

    2. Took a tour on the Metro Mover a free elevated car that goes around downtown Miami, enjoying just talking about all the things we share in common and our individual experiences over a lifetime.

    3. On our drive back discovered a new Best Buy on South Beach that I didn't even know was there, where he finally found his holder. We had lunch together in this mini-mall.

Michel had other things to do in the evening so when he dropped me off at home he took off. But, it was a wonderful day hanging with this guy, just for his company, not just for the fun sex I have with him.

(Yeah, I might be in love with him).

That is so cool. You both look way happy together in the pic. I'm glad you've decided he's a keeper. :)

Well, just going on the visuals I'd be head over heals in love with him in a micro-second.
Think you should move to Italy, that is if you can put up with the straight Italian males who, in my experience, are a bunch of spoilt brats still tied to mummy's apron strings.

The last time I was in Italy, the gay guys were a little pushy in Brindisi. Jim and I accompanied each other to the public toilets because we were always being accosted by these horny guys. Walking down the street we kept hearing 'pssst' 'pssst' like a bunch of snakes hissing at us.

    Today was spent by myself:

    1. Biked to a movie (saw Safe Haven again)

    2. Biked to the Best Buy in SoBe and bought Twilight: Breaking Dawn 2

    3. Gonna watch my DVD shortly.

I never learned how to swim. Yet one of my favorite movies is TITANIC. LOL. Go figure.

Gotta do mine later today. And I'm dreading it big time: Safeway is the most wretched store on the planet (IMO). But it's the only grocery store within walking distance of my place. So I suffer ungladly (is that a word?) :D
