1. Dad came home from work early, so we went and got something to eat at the pub.
2. Watched the weather lol, here in the noth west of england, its been torrential rain, flash floods, hailstones and thunder and lightning, and this is supposed to be bloody summer!
3. Had pizza for tea.
Didn't really do much today, but my friend's parents are away soon, so week long party at his lol

 

1 Ran Weed-Eater for an hour or so, 110 heat index, cussed weed-eater and weather

2 Installed new dryer, cussed old dryer for costing me money.

3 Took long refreshing outdoor shower and sang praises to the shower and cool water

 

-Rode my bike -Ingested way too much caffeine -Stayed up all night Damn.

 

1. Worked on my family Webpage adding pix and text
2. Rode bike to the movie - saw The Expendables
3. Donated blood & rode bike back home in sweltering heat.

1. Finally got to see AN ENGLISHMAN IN NEW YORK. It's a good movie, plus the DVD has some really cool extra features.

2. Had a tasty roast beef sandwich for lunch.

3. Drinking lots of Diet Pepsi and bottled water: The heat wave has finally arrived in the Pacific Northwest - big time.

The heatwave here has finally gone, and in its place is wind and rain!

2. Saw the Sister Act musical, and got to see Whoopi Goldberg live.

1. Began reading a depressing book about overcoming depression.

2. Only recently discovered J.D. Salinger had passed away. Yikes!!

3. Read CATCHER IN THE RYE, and selfishly wondered about all of his (J.D. Salinger's) unpublished writings. (Will Holden rise from the ashes?)

Decided Salinger's short stories are way too depressing for comfort. But still admire his novel. It almost seems like a masculine take on Sylvia Plath's way of looking at life. And SP is my fave writer. Christ, can you imagine both authors in the same room? Sorta like Janis Joplin and Jim Morrison. And Janis whacked Jim good with a Southern Comfort bottle. Rumor has it that Jim admired her for that. Big time.
