Because of the long walk? More than a mile, and I'm totally wiped out. But I'm fast becoming an old man. ;)

    my three of the day

    1. I took my dog for a walk (that dog, but female and prettier)

    2. Ate a noodle thing for dinner. I don't like meat and it is steak night here, which is a no no in my book :(

    3. Went to the pub with a friend. It was boring, sometimes you try but it's like getting blood from a stone. I often wonder what the hell must be going through some people's heads, it's like they want to be out, just to sit around miserable and make other people uncomfortable. No idea what was wrong with the guy today.

I am just about to watch the Book Of Eli, i'm quite excited about that.

Yikes! My heart goes out to you -- big time. I just got over strep throat, so I know you are in lots of pain. Get well soon! (Hot tea helped me a lot. Plus chicken noodle soup really did help me to feel less sick and stronger, etc.) Anyway, I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers....

    1. Decided to get totally drunk (been sober for 3 years).
    2. Ended up chatting with a straight dude I met at Safeway (of all places!)
    3. He came back to my place, and we watched "Janis".

P.S. There was no sex, but plenty of energetic debate. He felt Janis was a bit too "masculine" for comfort. I told him I thought it was really cool that she seldom wore make-up and false eye lashes (which was all the rage in the late 1960s). Her awesome singing is what mattered, not how she looked.

He seemed more impressed by Grace Slick (of Jefferson Airplane). Yeah, Grace had an awesome voice. And she was pretty on the outside. But Janis was a force of nature. And it's her natural beauty and talent I will always respect. I guess that's why I'm a queer poet? She always seemed so beautiful to me -- beautiful and real. "Masculine" is not a constant. :)

I had a really full day. The weather was perfect for bicycling.

    1. Biked 5 miles to the cinema and watched Step Up 3D.

    2. Biked another 5 miles to Miami Bayside to the FYE a store with used DVD's and got 12 cheap ones.

    3. Rode the ten miles back home but on the way saw a DeLorean on the road.

I stalked it a while until it parked and got some pix. The guy says there are only about 6K of these unique cars left.
