Dang, it's been so long since I've done this -- I'm not quite sure how? But I wanted to thank Shale and TG -- for your habitual concern and interest in this borrowed thread. I only started it because I thought it would be fun to have an American thread, etc. I mean, we all do 3 things each day. But what do we consider the 3 most meaningful things? That's what grabbed my attention. I'm still lurking, so thank you for remembering me. And please continue to share: I very much enjoy reading the major (or minor) events of every person's day. And I promise to add my own contribution -- when my crazy health allows. Thanks to all...

    Dylan

    1. Lit several white candles
    2. Bought some sunflowers
    3. Watched Julie and Julia (On DVD)

It's you, it's really you!!! I hope you're doing better; I've missed you around here. I'm sure I can say the same for Shale.

:) Thanks, TG!! Yeah, it's really me. I'm feeling better. But I lost my password, so it took me awhile to make a post. But I miss you guys! And I hope all is well? Jesus, the only thing that got me through this difficult time -- was Bukowski. Love him or hate him -- the dude spoke the truth. Christ, I miss you guys. Hang in there!!

    Much love,

I thank you much IB :) I've been gone for awhile, but I'm still very much still here in spirit. So what's everybody enjoying today? I mean, what three things? Hell, let's even shoot for four? Texas style. Life's way too short. Do it now!!

Heh, well hopefully we'll see a few more posts in the day to come. To be fair, we never ran into each other to much on here but I remember your posts- they were quite impressionable :)

I can add a fourth, not done anything else today (only 2 o'clock-ish around here)

    - had scrambled eggs, beans and toast :p

Was this something you made by your self? Jesus, I am totally impressed. I am a dude that is helpless without a microwave. I mean, I can write a ballad -- but I'm lost without a microwave. Go figure. I wish I had your natural talent for cooking. I'm serious: I'd much rather be Julia Child than Ted Hughes (or even Sylvia Plath). I mean, there is such a thing as starving to death. Food or poetry? Give me food. Big time! Whatever keeps one alive! :D

I am going to totally send you a curve ball then, because it wasn't with a microwave- but instead with the hoob

I can cook very well actually, something I impress people with when I have to. I sit around and watch to much afternoon television :D

To be honest though QP, I would chose poetry over food at the moment! Need lyrics for songs I have written, I am coming up with road blocks. I know they are a little different, but still- I envy you :p

You are a saint. I'm serious. I'd give my left kidney -- if I could be half as productive as you are. Where does all that energy come from? Please tell me the secret?

Don't ever envy me! A delicious meal -- is a hundred times better than a song or poem. And I would be a shameless liar -- if I pretended not to know. I'm certain you write as well as you cook. Talent is talent. You cannot escape that fact.

I got up and did my usual Sunday Routine: Laundry, run to the store to get the paper (more for the running than the paper), had a cheese omelet for Bkfast. Won't count that.

    1. Went online and pleasantly surprised to see QP is alive and well and posting again.

    2. Scanned a couple of old items so that I can post them someday.

    3. Biked to the movie just to get out. Saw The Sorcerers Apprentice for the second time. A fun movie.

    1. Went into town with Ary and Charli and went to a Meican restruant.
    2. Went home at like 10:30 cos I felt like shite. I don't know why though, I didn't have much to drink, just a couple of pints and a tequila so it wasn't the booze, tbh I'd been feeling pretty lousy anyway.
    3. Just found out that the £20 I had in my pocket has gone :banghead: I really need to get a fuckin wallet lol
