It's declined from just less than 20% of the population before Black Power to less than 10% today. Yet the Suidlander group that Southern is tied in with is seriously talking race war, which may become a self-fulfilling prophecy. On the other side, Julius Malema, of the Economic Freedom Fighters, has been expelled from the ruling ANC for singing "Dubula iBunu" ("Shoot the Boer")The risks are clear, and the Suidlanders have important decisions to make, but I doubt Southern's documentary will do them much good.

I think a more sensible strategy for you would be to do what you can to accommodate the reasonable interests of the nonwhite population which you may depend on to take care of you in the nursing home. Be nice to them, and they might forgive and forget. And brush up on your Spanish!

I don't think they were given the opportunity. They were invaded and conquered in a blitzkrieg. And eventually liberated by Allied forces. If I were a member of a minority consisting of less than 8% of the population and declining every year over the past decade, and I thought the majority was going to rise up and hack me and my family to death, I think I'd be inclined to follow my neighbors and book a ticket to Australia, New Zealand, Canada, or wherever. But some might decide to stick it out and see if maybe their prophet of doom could be wrong or Trump could send in the Marines

I think it would help to be stoned in order to follow the train of "thought". Best I can make out, Six is saying that the South Africans who are concerned about being massacred horribly should stand their ground instead of leave the country, cuz look what happened to the Jews in Germany and the Slavs who stood their ground. Seems like a non sequitor to me.

What does this have to do with the broader topic, Lauren Southern's documentaries? It relates to the Grand Replacement theory--the idea underlying her documentaries, that non-whites are getting uppity and are trying to replace them. You may recall the chant at Charlottesville:"Jews will not replace us!" The Tiki torch marchers weren't concerned about Jews directly replacing them, but about the plot (supposedly inspired by Jews) to replace them by non-white immigrants and minorities. The nutjob responsible for the mass shooting of Jews in the Pittsburgh synagogue seemed to be espousing this theory. Ironically, here the people being urged to stand and fight may have more in common with the Third Reich than with the Jews. I know it's complicated. It probably won't get better when you're more clear-headed.

 

I think I'll continue to avoid this thread.
