That's tragic, it seems increasingly evident that humans spite and hatred knows no bounds.

 

There was another shooting at an MLK celebration in Hallandale two hours later. I live in Florida and I'm getting increasingly scared of leaving the house. In the past year we've had Pulse, the Fort Lauderdale airport shooting, and then these two today. It's getting ridiculous.

 

I Was reading Police blogs for Monday, October 10th, 2016 (Columbus Day) and concluded as irrationally as you did with Martin Luther King
that Columbus must be rolling over in his grave and wished he never discovered America


White man kills entire family in murder/suicide plot
White man rapes and murders woman
Two white women and one white man rape, strangle, and dismember 10 year old girl,
community outraged
White man arrested for sexual assault of girl under 6 years old
White fire chief arrested for excessive DUI

Across the country there were hundreds of more (white, only) crimes on Columbus Day - Interesting

I'm not making light of these recent tragedies. My thoughts go out to the victims of these senseless, horrendous acts. Human beings are primates, and primates are some of the most violent animals on Earth. I just wanted to point out that things have been worse in the past (and are much worse in some parts of the world today).

 

That doesn't really help that people I knew are dead. It may not be worse in general, but hate crimes are a huge problem and it seems more concentrated in certain areas.

 

Hmmm, this is very interesting. The OP didn't mention anything about anyone's skin color, shooter or victims. But you had to list off some specific "white man" crimes?

OM later posted "White Supremacists", which I'm not sure what he means, but if I had to guess, he thinks a white racist was shooting at black people?

We are all the same species regardless of skin color, we are all capable of terrible acts.

 

Yes, I have noticed that cops and reporters leave out ethnicity because of racial profiling complaints from groups.

Apparents they have arrested two people who are still considered suspects.

What is also interesting is people saw the shooter.

"Tavarius Flowers, 29 and Alexander Brito-Peralta, 28 were arrested and both had guns.

Miami-Dade police say that Flowers was detained shortly after Monday’s shooting because he matched a description of the shooter.

Why are they not releasing the description or have they and I just don't see it? Why no composit?

I think the (very valid) critical feedback you got in another thread is getting to you. But it wasn't ment personally or to offend you, it was all about the thread topic and how you refused to focus on the key question. No need to get lame or personal over nothing

Uhm I was. Your reaction to it was the post that had nothing to do with it, and I was pointing out that you shouldn't take valid criticism as a personal insult to such extent that it affect your posts in another thread. Your second response seems like you don't wanna get that. Pretty trollish. I intend to stay on topic, but at the same time if you react butthurt or lame because you can't handle valid criticism I think it is worthy to point out as well.
