I'm going to throw another into the bag... The Vaughan Brothers... Stevie Ray and Jimmie Vaughan... two texas blues brother guitarists with entirely different styles.... well, Stevie did play the bass too, but not Tommy Shannon did in double trouble. Makes me want to buy a Fender Stratocaster again. I miss my old one. Maybe I'll go to the pawn shop across the street today and see if they have one.
i dont listen to much new music, well i guess i do, and i coulda put phish, but they are breaking up.
its ok if you do...ill admit i listened to simple plan for about a week when they first came out, but then the headaches came lol...i listen to lots of music new and old..but they're all in the rock genre for some reason. i love love love love love phish..but once the tours done no more phish my friends brother who i had the biggest most pathetic crush on all through freshman year is going to the last phish show in vermont...im uber jealous of that bastard
Hell yeah you can count them as "still together!" I actually just heard a *new* Who song the other day! Roger Daltrey says that The Who's best music is still to come, so we'll see. Pete must be planing something sweet, and I have high hopes for this since Roger doesn't think that most of The Who's work is very good. If Roger thinks this is good, then it should be pretty interesting. The song I heard wasn't amazing, but it wasn't bad by any means. It was better than I expected it to be. Oh yeah, three favorite bands (I don't care if they're not still together :H) - The Who - The Beatles - The Velvet Underground
sounds cool, I'll be on the lookout. but don't listen to a single word Roger says. Half the time, I wonder if he knows what he is talking about. anyways, Pete has a website I'll have to find it and see what those old buggers are still up too. Even when the Who is not at their best, they still blow a good many bands out of the water, so I'm sure Pete can still write. since we're counting them these are my favs. 1. the Who can't think of any others cause I'm too busy thinking about god knows what! anyways...
my fav 3 at the moment: keziah jones sloan jim white if you havn't heard any of the above then do so now peace and jah love ya crazie kids
