    This is terrible. What will it take to bring down the source of this unsettling new trend. The word "new" is really a misnomer there... Terrorist attacks are not new. According to something I was listening to on the radio (or something I saw on television, I don't remember which) there were lots of incidents in the 70s and 80s too. I did not know that. Sadly, I actually know someone from Bangladesh. I hope that her and her family are safe.

    I don't know when the word terrorism came about, but the acts of it have perpetuated history.

    It's a human thing. To terrorize is a way to gain power. Humans do that sort of thing...through the ages, it never stopped even when we became the so-called civilized people we are now.
