W/B TwoDogs... See, sometimes it's so much better to virtually interact with ppl, instead of inviting them along with you, right?
Bro JC, it truly is great seeing you back. I can't wait to see what you have been up to. I am just working 70 plus hours a week with hardly any free time to do anything. I just got home tonight, Saturday, and I will be leaving Monday at noon. Geez, I gotta get back to living that Simple Stress Free Lifestyle, eh? Camp on
Thank you for returning to this place of hope. I had no inspiration with you gone. Don't want to get to mushy and run you off again but welcome back and I can't wait to catch up on the recent adventures. If you remember me, I'm taking care of my wife for now but will be on the road someday when things have run their course. I'm still in no hurry so your adventures are one of the few things I have to keep me sane in this position I find myself in.:2thumbsup:
Glad I just found this thread. Alot of your story I recognize. I spent alot of my adult life in Az. outback. Ive hung out different places on the Verde from Drake to Clarkdale. In the early 70's we would go down to bear siding from Williams, make up a sweat lodge and eat Peyote for two days. Jerome was my home for awhile in 1970. Real happy for those years , I Rely on them and Calif. Coast ,for nostalgic comfort today. Wow, Keep on truckin Man.
That's soo cool that you get the chance to live your dream like that. Everyone should get to fulfill that type of thing. How do you make a living to pay for gas?
Glad to see that you were at least kickin in October. I got to page 42 and skipped to the end like a bad girl. Scared me for a minute, thinking something bad had happened and you weren't with us. Your stories are wonderful and I will continue on past page 42. Good luck my wandering friend. Edited to add: I read on and as sad as I am to see that you lost your Two Socks, I'm so glad to see have a new baby. Looking forward to more stories and pictures.
Just read through all 80 something pages. What an easy read! I'm an urban free sleeper living in my van. I thought I was having quite and adventure until I read about 2dogs. What a life he has had! I hope he comes back and posts some more.
Hello: I registered on these forums for the soul purpose of congratulating TwoDogs on achieving what most of us who own vans only pretend to do Haha! those jalapeno burgers look damn fine man! gonna have to try that one myself. I don't go more then a day without fantasizing about cross country trips, be it in a Van,car, or even a scooter !
When I was younger we had a van.... Quite interesting riding in the back!! (Nothing was in the back @ the time,no seats or anything.... It was interesting (THINKING ABOUT THIS 1 TIME RIDING IN A VAN) Welcome to the site
Great thread brother, I hope you are well at this moment, how is 2012 treating you so far? I want to thank you dearly for the great stories and pictures that kept me occupied for a couple hours. hope to here more from you.
Not really. Looking at that pic you're referring to, I'd say that's a medium sized dog, the grill is small, and I see Canadian Thistle, Sage-Bussle Knapweed and goatheads. All three are noxious and invasive. Wrong weed to have around camp, IMO.
