I picked that one in particular out of the 90 mins of the forum because he does shift down tone and volume of his voice when talking about that subject

Notice how he never once acknowledges Taylor or Floyd or Blake or anything to do with race for that matter, just keeps focusing on respecting the police

He waffles, but did come off sounding normal and reasonable on that topic, and zero pandering

The idea of herd immunity for a country of 330,000,000 is insane.

You’d need to infect at least 65% of the population or roughly 215,000,000 people, and with a current mortality rate at 2.95% it would leave over 6 million dead. At a 1% rate of mortality it would leave 2.1 million dead.
Shit even the 1918 pandemic only killed 675,000

Why are you talking about herd immunity? What exactly is it you think President Trump said about herd immunity

I know you have heard a lot of "experts" talk about herd immunity, both for and against

But herd immunity is only a thing for viruses where you get lifetime immunity

If we are only get immumity for a year or two with Sars-CoV-2 then herd immunity would be impossible to achieve and thus not relevant

Trump thinking masks don't offer the protection some people claim, or assuming half the voting population doesn't give a shit about masks isn't the same as talking about herd immunity

The current mortality rate is nowhere near 2.95% or even 1%
