Well it sure is the shits now, thanks to his continuing mishandling of the Covid crisis!

How could we forget' Day after day of that mean-spirited, foul-mouthed, divisive, crooked, conniving, corrupt, ruthless, nepotistic, narcissistic, megalomanic, authoritarian pussy-grabber!

Oh, but what about his policies. Eagles refuses to admit that there is a correlation between trump's personality, and his policies.

That's kinda like saying Mussolini got the trains to run on time and drained the swamps. But in the bigger scheme of things, he was a disaster for Italy--for reasons similar to why Trump is a disaster for the U.S. If we elect him again, we could get a Mussolini rerun. Trump's overriding policy objective is to make the U.S. more authoritarian. As Nixon's Attorney General, convicted felon John Mitchell, used to say: Watch what we do, not what we say." Nixon was headed in the same direction. Preserving the rule of law, limited government, checks and balances and other institutional characteristics of the U.S. system of government are important policies--I'd say even more important than economic policies (since an economy can crash at the drop of a hat, as it has under Trump.) Trump is the biggest threat to the former than any other President we've had. His unstated policy is to follow the path of the leaders he most admires: Putin, Kim Jong un, Erdogan, and Xi.

Since Tishomingo and Flagme is unable or unwilling to carry on a discussion without the name calling, making assumptions that are completely erroneous, twists things around and are unable to substantiate anything that is said, they are not worth the trouble in replying to their messages. It is for that reason that I'm done with this room. If there were someone here who could actually be an adult and have a civil and sensible political discussion, then I would stay. It's a sad commentary that this can't happen because it's at that point that no dialogue is possible. This is what many democrats do today and it's sad that they can't even have an open mind. Good luck everyone.

If you were an adult, maybe you could find discussion. If you want to spout continuous and total bullshit, then we can't help you...

But that takes away all the fun. Eagles did at least provide us with some points for target practice. His claim that policy positions should be the basis for evaluating Trump is a non-starter, because: (1) policy has never been the sole focus for historians in evaluating presidents; (2) some of the worst leaders in history, like Mussolini, won early praise for their policy achievements --draining the swamps (literally) getting the trains to run on time; (3) Trump has exceptional difficulty formulating coherent policy positions, and has yet to do so for his second term; (4) Trump has failed to keep most of his policy promises; and (5) the policies Trump has pursued--including the economy--have been disasters.

It's truly amazing how a guy like Eagles can see trump as a decent person .And go so far as to say that Tish and Flagme ( he forgot egger, erofant and others I guess) ,twist things and make erroneous statements when they generally report facts about Herr trump-----. I just don't get it. I've posed a series of questions to the righties referencing KNOWN facts over the months---"-not worth the trouble" or "I refuse to take part" or complete silence. How in the world can anyone think that trump is a decent person in any way?? What kind of people are these?

I guess. It's a sad state of affairs for so many people to admire a mentally deficient person by completely ignoring reality. It's down side up.

I suspect he's a troll. I'm always suspicious of newbies who join a social media site a few months before a national election and become instantly political, particularly when the posts are as vapid as his. There are troll farms operating in Russia and Eastern European countries. The jobs tend to pay better than others available for folks who aren't part of the elite. Macedonian teenagers make good money that way. Or he could have been a home-grown variety. I understand they have at least one Troll forTrump in Australia.

Biden leads by double digits as coronavirus takes a toll on the president, Post-ABC poll finds

Biden leads Trump 55 percent to 40 percent among registered voters. That compares with a 10-point Biden lead in May and a two-point edge in March, at a time when the pandemic was just beginning to spread rapidly in parts of the country.

Among those who say they are certain to vote, Biden’s lead stands at 11 points.

The Data Proves Mail-In Voting Is Safe From Fraud & COVID-19

The evidence we reviewed finds that voting by mail is rarely subject to fraud, does not give an advantage to one political party over another and can in fact inspire public confidence in the voting process, if done properly.

When fraud does occur, election administrators identify it and take action, correcting election returns and prosecuting those responsible. That’s what happened in North Carolina in 2018, when a Republican political activist paid others to collect incomplete absentee ballots so they could be filled out to vote for the Republican candidate. The activist was arrested, charged and convicted—and the entire election was invalidated and run again.

But overall election fraud is rare.

A database of election fraud reports maintained by the conservative Heritage Foundation reports approximately 1,200 allegations of voter fraud – for which there were 1,100 criminal convictions—‚for voter fraud since 2000.

Of those, only 204 allegations, and 143 convictions, involved mail-in ballots. That is a tiny fraction of the roughly 250 million mail-in ballots cast over those two decades. In addition, problems are extremely rare in states that rely primarily on vote by mail.

Former House Speaker Paul Ryan warns that Trump is on track to get crushed in the suburbs and the Upper Midwest

Former GOP House Speaker Paul Ryan privately warned that President Trump is on track to lose the suburbs and the key Upper Midwestern states he carried in 2016,

The Times said that Ryan, who represented Wisconsin's first congressional district for two decades and served as Speaker from 2015-2019, sounded the alarm about Trump's dire reelection prospects at a private event held by Solamere Capital, a private equity firm co-founded by Sen. Mitt Romney's son Tagg Romney.

Ryan reportedly pointed to Trump's increasingly poor standing among suburban voters, in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan — three states Trump won by margins of less than one percentage point each in 2016 — and Democratic nominee Joe Biden's lead among voters who dislike both candidates. While Trump carried those voters in 2016, polls indicate that Biden is leading them this time around.

If you look closely, you can really see that Gabbard stole that woman’s soul in that debate last year.
