Desperate as hell to get re-elected, Trump today issued an executive order to force all federal agencies to enforce anything. The result is big and staggering. Now we have no worker protections
    no consumer credit protections
    no food safety protections
    no banking protections
    no environmental protection
    no safe drinking water protection
no clean air protection, meaning corporations can do as they wish
Trucking companies can now demand drivers work lots of overtime
meat packing houses can add illegal animal and dog food grade products to their ……..as additives!
I haven't heard about the protection of our last sacred lands, but it seems even the Grand Canyon and Rocky Mountain National Park are vulnerable thanks to Trump.

    Please Vote Democrat.

please show proof instead of hyperbole... calling 10-15% of the population bad people is reckless and not presidential no matter what or who

The call to defund the police is not a winning cause for democrats.

That being said, let's hope they keep up this insanity.

    Gallup's 2020 Presidential Election Center
I assume you're joking, right. It fell from 14.7% in April (the highest since the Great Depression) to 13.3% in May, still below the 10% during the 2008 recession. And women and minorites seemed to be left out. I don't think Trump should be doing victory laps just yet.

Where are we going with that? The Gallup poll was taken in early May, and seems to have been an aberration. The RealClear Politics average for late May/early June has him back down to 42.9% approval, 54% disapproval. The analysis that he was "in position to win" was simply based on the fact that his (then) approval rating was slightly higher than those of G.W. Bush and Obama at this stage in their election cycle, but that seems no longer to be the case. The latest Fox poll gives Biden an 8 point advantage, and the RealClear average for late May, early June gives Biden a 7.1 point advantage.

In the context of his speech, addressing the brutal killing of George Floyd, he seemed to be referring to racists and folks who engage in brutality and violence. My guess is that 10-15% would be a conservative estimate, but unlike Hillary, he didn't identify the bad guys with Hillary supporters and they remain anonymous. If you can document all of the charges, claims, and questionable statements Trump has made, I guess we can try to do the same for Biden. Was Ted Cruz's father really involved in the assassination of JFK? Is there really any doubt that Obama was born in the USA? And did the Americans really take the airfields during the American Revolution. Most people understand that hyperbole is the name of the game in political campaigns. The point is that most Americans are good people, but there are a few rotten apples.

The Libertarian call to defund the police is unfortunate. Is "Defunding the Police" Libertarian?
I think the police need reform badly, but defunding them is a radical idea. Let's hope the Democrats aren't that stupid. I doubt that Biden and the Party leadership will be, although some of the more radical elements might be.

Indeed, abolishing government police and replacing them with private non-union security is a libertarian idea. Only problem is it’s not popular with much of the public, and therefore not a winning cause. (At least not yet)

If libertarians took over today, privatizing the police force would be a low priority on their to do list. As there’s a lot of other more important shit that needs fixing.

When Minnesotan leftists call for the demolishing of the police department, they don’t want replace it with private security forces. Instead they want to replace it with social workers who will ignore violent crimes and arrest you for saying the wrong things on the internet. Such as misgendering a trans person, or saying something islamophobic.

it’ll be more government. Not less

But of course the poll you cite is Rasmussen, consistently an outlier giving pro-Republican results. For example, they predicted Romney would win in 2012.

LOL "Oh, What a Tangled Web We Weave, When First We Practice to Deceive!"

You know perfectly well that you have NEVER EVER been able to defend your Social Darwinist, neoliberal ,right wing libertarian ideas form criticism.

Oh remember when you suggested that domino’s pizza should build the road system, it was hilarious how quick that idea crashed and burned.

Oh the lefties the lefties please save the children from the lefties….

Oh come on man we did a whole thread on you ridicules Political Correct diatribes back when you were happy to identify yourself as alt-right and you got your arse handed to you on a plate on a weekly basis, shall I bump it up so we can have some more laughs or have you had enough humiliation? The thread was if I remember - How to stop the alt-right – (hint 6's argument was to give to it’s demands).

    How To Stop The Alt-Right

It was full of ‘useful hints’ like defunding Black Lives Matter and stop being ‘politically correct’ about race, religion and sexuality. Which basically boiled down to being able to say any unsubstantiated shit about these groups without having any come back.

The police are the police - social workers are social workers neoliberal policies in the UK have cut social programmes and the social services and the police found their work load skyrocket as a result

These same neoliberals privatised the probation service - that supervised ex-offenders - to much fanfare but then had to quietly renationalise it after the National Audit Office said problems with the privatisation had cost taxpayers nearly £500m.

Then those same neoliberals started cutting the police forces and as a result they only have the ability to cover half the crimes reported to them and you get mad schemes like the one that ignored burglaries at odd numbered houses and only investigated one as even numbered houses.

Basically these neoliberal right wing libertarian ideas are crap they take something that works and break like the NHS or they take a bad situation and make it worse like the probation service.

As I’ve said elsewhere the problem with policing in the US seems to be about supervision

Race, class and above all power.

As Tish says it needs reform not privatisation which is likely to make things much worse.
