I heard Grandma Nan wants to see Trump in jail. I think it's a smokescreen. She needs to tamp down the impeachment talk as fast as possible as the first democratic debates are looming. I realize that a lot of people think that Trump was elected by hapless mouth breathers with an average 11th grade education and a pointy hat in their closet. As if his election was just some weird, 1 in 10 Quintilian chance of happening.

Something else I think Nancy is projecting though is that Trump will be easier to impeach in a second term. Which will pave the way for a democratic takeover. Sure, it means 4 years of governmental gridlock and a stagnant economy, but there would be no "Trump Agenda" in his second term. OR, Pelosi realizes that she can start NOW working on a way to get him into the steel bar tower which can be chased down for years after he's no longer president.

And no, I don't care for Pelosi, she should have passed the torch a decade ago. How many careers stagnated so she could have power into her crotchety years?

All that money invites a takeover or revolution. The first general to return from a war successfully could march the army right over the Potomac with the Pentagon's blessings. They've trashed our government to make it easier for the banks to take over, knowing anything goes after that.

I actually think trump has better chance of trump being imprisoned, after he leaves office, than he does of being impeached.

 

Allowing the democrats to put him in prison would be an admission the republican party is as helpless as fish flopping around in the sand. If white collar crime can't be legal, the whole country is fucked. Opening that can of worms is the last thing Wall Street or anybody who has money wants. They can't imprison him in office and they won't dare try in earnest when he's outside of office, because that would mean civil war.

Get it straight, the last thing Neo-Nazis care about is legal technicalities, such as who is guilty. If Obama can forgive the bankers for destroying the entire world economy by practicing widespread fraud, and putting the American tax payers into twenty trillion dollars worth of debt, no president will ever spend a day in jail. A mental institution, maybe.
