Yeah, what happened in Niger didn’t come close to the ass mess Benghazi turned out to be. Looked more like another “Black Hawk Down” to me.
The thing that irritated me the most, Hotwater, is that politicians were asking why do we have troops in Africa? They’ve been there well over a decade, and since the War on Terror campaign started. Worse than that - a General makes a comment that the troops were untrained and unprepared. Those were special operations Soldiers - the Army’s best trained and seasoned Soldiers- and he makes a shitty comment (an excuse pretty much) that they were ill-prepared. Made me cringe in my seat and all I could do was holler at him through the tv - “Go sit the fuck DOWN somewhere!!!”

No one could solve it at FBI, so it went to the CIA. With no clue as to its meaning, FBI finally asked MSS (Ministry of State Security in China for help.
