That’s not something I believe to be true. As I said, they are both unfit and deplorable. And I certainly don’t care who co-signs him because it won’t change my opinion... An opinion that I started forming independently since Biden showed up on my radar in 2001.

If you had some specific detail to back up your impressions they might carry more weight with others. Of course you're entitled to find somebody "unfit and deplorable" because there's just something about him.

 

The Trump supporters are at it again. They are working overtime because they know Biden will win. It's about 160 days until early voting starts.

 

I'll agree that's the way they are playing it, but it's obvious now that Biden was shoved into this. He's an obvious puppet so the real game will be who is selected to be his VP.

 

I wouldn't disavow Biden. He may look occasionally to the official playbook of the Democratic caucus for guidance or inspiration and what have you, but I think it's in his heart to lead the country and that's what he'll try to do; unlike his opponent who makes no effort to demonstrate leadership in any orthodox or recognizable fashion.

I think he'll make a fine president, for what it's worth. He may have sniffed somebody's hair, but I believe he can put something together from the weirdness we have right now. & right now, I definitely know in my heart there's room for improvement.

Biden is presumed to be the nominee but not officially the nominee. As long as that's the situation then he should just let Trump make an ass out of himself as usual. It's what Sun Tsu Art Of War would recommend.

 

You're literally advocating for letting Trump continue to run the show. What has Biden to lose? Aside from the presidency. Showing backbone now would go a lot further toward clinching the nomination, but really who else do the democrats have in the wings?

 

Last night he did a phone interview from his home. It was on MSNBC. Biden talked mostly about his Catholic Faith and family and Easter. He talked about healing the country. He didn't mention Trump. So, I'm thinking he will go on attack after he is nominated. The party is still figuring out how to fall in behind him or to find a way to screw it all up.
