  1. Oh please, I see this all over the country. A non-progressive part of the country? That's weirdly bigoted. From whence to you come by such an old-fashioned notion?

I don't hate the south. I think Mississippi might be kinda cool. But I will say that I think the politics of it are unfortunate. You have right now a republican Senate united under Mitch McConnel who has decided to bad mouth the minority leader! It's insufferable.

Now, can you really get behind that? Even if you're republican, and by default align with republican leadership, you can see that's what's happening. And it stinks! That's no way to lead.

So in my opinion the south must overcome. They should perhaps consider a repentant (if that's a word) attitude about the history of their part of the nation. Is that not really on anybody's radar, or are they in denial. It's truly an unknown.

Because there are modern areas in the south. Cities. Buildings. Urban. It's not all a countrified little plantation by a river. So what's going on?

it depends on where you go in Mississippi , there are still lots of necks, and backward ideas . some places you can't even have a beer on your front porch without a deputy trying to arrest you. and, to fit in you have to go to the same church , drink the same whiskey , chew the same tobacco , and look just like them

what about Jackson? That's probably ok.

I think it must be beautiful. But if you're right, and I suspect you may very well be, I'd not like the mental anguish of trying to fit in. I don't fit in. That's just who I am. I am an out of the box kind of person. I guess only in some ways - many ways I'm rather ordinary. But I'm definitely a free thinker! :) But surely there is free thought to be had in Mississippi. :sunglasses: Even if only in Jackson.

Looks like the right wing of the Dems have their knives out for 'ol Bernie. Even Mayor Michael Rubens Bloomberg musta shipped out quite a few million shekels on his own campaign before throwing in his cards to help Joe. Guess he can afford it what with a net worth of over $55,4 billion.

Trump might do little that he hasn't in Twitter. I read that Biden did well against Paul Ryan. Biden smiles more and is more animated. Trump just bullshits a lot. No Wall, Clinton's still free, people tired of not not winning. The economy is good? How often is the American economy is bad, like really bad? Trump needs his aides to explain things for him. Bitch McConnel, Graham, Pence: all whores.

Wtf is Burisma? Something Alex Jones brought up? Yeah, I know Biden's a crook, but Trump is by far a bigger one, so that's cancelled by Trump's corruption.

I still think Trump will win be cause you Americans love your incumbents (and maybe we Canadians like ours even more—particularly the Liberal ones), but like many 2nd timers—Obama, Dubya, Willie, and even Reagan—he's going to be tired.

You guys don't know Nancy: possibly the most powerful woman in American political history?

Trump wasn't even 10 years old at the time.

1984: when a Democrat VP lost 49 states to an incumbent GOP President (though Tip O'Neill served a bit as a check—and Nancy is turning out to be a bigger one.)

When the dust settles and the next President of America has been elected, hopefully the vast majority of the electorate
will carry on as per usual and call themselves what they really are ... Americans!

Our self-styled "genius" in the Oval Office told us on Hannity's show the other day that the WHO estimates of a fatality rate of 3.4% for the corona virus is "really a false number." Instead , he thinks the number is "way under !%", "Now, and this is just my hunch, and--but based on a lot of conversation with a lot of people that do this." (Say, what?) Trump gets a fact check on coronavirus vaccines — from his own officials On Twitter, he said "This is just more Fake News and diinformation put out by the Democrats, in particular MSDNC." Earlier, he said "we are very close to a vaccine", contradicting CDC estimates that that is 12 to 18 months away. His top economic advisor, ex-TV star Wall Street booster Larry Kudlow , falsely claimed that the U.S. had the virus "contained"-"I wouldn't say it's air tight, but it's pretty close to air tight." He was soon proven wrong by the community spread of the disease.

So I ask you, doesn't this seem like the Prez is a bit demented. And what does that say about people who continue to support him?

Oh, my, "shekels"? How politically incorrect. Yes, it was a conspiracy, I tell you. (((Bloomberg))) was spending millions on his own campaign and stayed in the race just to slip Biden a few "shekels" under the table before he left.

And she received a delegate on Super Tuesday which qualifies her for the next debate. Tulsi and the two frontrunners

What a weird race this is shaping up to be

omg are you serious? You gotta give her credit for her strategy... do literally nothing for a year, stay in the race, become front runner by default when everyone else dropped out

WTF are some assholes still beating the "lock Hilary up" bullshit? Get the fuck over it! The main thing about this whole election is to remove as many republicans as possible, the Chito and restore some semblance of sanity .

Yes, on Super Tuesday Biden won 269 delegates, Bernie 239, and Gabbard 1. Tulsi, the people's choice (among Fox New watchers and MaAGA hat wearers, who probably account for that 1)!
