Realistically I don’t understand why anyone would vote on momentum. It’s the dumbest reason to vote at all TBH. But I know this is what happens most of the time. Why not vote based on who you feel will best represent you and the country? I guess being on the winning side is more important to some than the outcome of their future

Have Republicans, or Libertarians for that matter, ever nominated anything else? Like the present Republican campaign--no choice at all! Even cancelling primaries. The idea in elections is to put forward candidates who can win. The Democrats had a diverse field to choose from:Booker, Harris, Castro, Klouchar, Buttigieg, Gabbard, Warren. They went before the electorate along with three old men. The voters happened to picked two candidates who happen to be old & white because they like them. One is Jewish, the other Catholic. What are you, some kind of ageist, sexist person?

Bernie's problem is this. He is an ideologue. Nothing wrong with that, but when a country is is crisis it doesn't need an ideologue. It needs someone who can save the country.
