All I have to do to fathom that someone might be centrist is to look in the mirror. I'm a civil libertarian & a fiscal conservative with a devotion to our Constitution and Bill of Rights. I know a budding fascist when I see one, and dismissing it as the "Hitler card" is a propaganda ploy to deflect attention from the realities of our current situation. Nothing centrist about that!

Nothing is certain, not even that. In just the past week, that outcome seems less certain, owing to the uncertain impact of the corona virus on the economy and new uncertainties about who will be the Democrat candidate, which may be clarified in tomorrow's primaries. What is certain is that a Trump victory would be a disaster for our democracy--not just for Democrats but for us all.

Imo libertarianism as a concept is great but in reality only favors the elite

I have no problem admitting that there are problems with pure libertarianism, I merely lean that way when faced with Democrat or Republican stances on most issues. Republicans want just as much governmental interference in our lives as the Dems in my opinion, they would just interfere in different areas. I find that intolerable so I vote Libertarian if I have the choice.

I'd keep things like a minimum wage as long as it's tied to inflation. Social Security is popular so keep that too. And even though the Libertarian Party is opposed to mandatory vaccinations I support them; you got no right to spread disease around. Those are just a few examples.
