I just wanted to show the Marines support slavery. That's the flag of slavers. Communism which we are talking about here is against slavery. This thread is about the 2020 election and I want to share my opinions concerning the election in my country. IMG_20200209_0001.jpg

I’m trying to imagine building a house or repairing a car without understanding subtle differences between tools and building methods. My whole fucking job is dependent on being able to pick out subtle variations in color or shape so I can fix what I’m fucking looking at.
(Unlike some right wingers on here I don’t have a “soyboy desk job”... oh the irony)

Tumbling.dice is a libertarian, which is why he seems like a reasonable conservative.

I have read that many times. I used to substitute-teach university political science classes which used the work of Karl Marx. Maybe you -An Australian- could go a read up on American voting and election law?

That and he doesn’t say things that are demonstrably untrue every other post.

I understand you know everything which is why having to tell you this is confusing but I go foraging all the time. It's the purest form of eating and I wish more people still had the hunter gatherer mindset. But go on and eat the processed food wrapped in plastic you paid money for while criticizing my lifestyle

Why not answer this question? So you acknowledge communism calls for an elite ruling over the proletariat and a one party system, you don't see that as a concern?

Not sure those are actual examples of the political concept that communism is. Seems more like examples of communal living.

My main problem with our government is that neither the Dems or Repubs are trustworthy. Our bloated military is a perfect example. When Bush was president innocent people were killed. When Obama was president innocent people were killed. Arguing about who was "worse" makes no sense. It's time to take away the car keys from both our irresponsible teenage political parties.

    Ahhhh, thanks. :grinning:

  11. That's quite a laundry list for a single sentence. It's also full of flaws and assumptions without a shred of proof.

I am curious about "America" killing millions of slaves. There were 3.9 million slaves in 1860 and they were held by wealthy cotton (south) and cloth (north) producers, not by "America". The government of the US was still not able to pass any legislation that could compel slave-owning operations to desist from the practice. Washington DC had no teeth until well after the civil war.

Regardless, I can't help but wonder how they managed to kill "millions" of slaves and stay in business. Slaves were expensive, which is why they were not castrated on their way to the Americas (only about 5% of them ever saw north America). The Arab slave trade was very different. Male slaves were castrated wholesale, while still in Africa. Those that survived bleeding to death or infections were sold. The Arabs could easily afford this sorting process since they were in the back yard of the supply. The slaves going west could only be sold if they were alive and well enough for farm work.

Your take on the second world war leaves out a lot of stuff in an effort to paint the whole mess as somehow the fault or burden of the US. Even though it started as a European conflict years earlier. But that's the price to be paid when cramming so much history into snappy slogans or huge sentences. I realize you take great pride in presenting your little America Sucks and always has pity parties, but this approach is boring. It's too obvious that you're just spewing personal frustrations, onto a whole country, across centuries. How powerful you must think yourself in this endeavor.

But it's pointless. Your audience knows all too well that those events have a much broader story to be told. However, the beauty of America is that you can put out any and all of this that you want without fear of government action. It doesn't even have to be true!

Lastly, what does any of this have to do with the 2020 election?

shitting on the US Marine Corps, man? Yeah I’m not getting behind all that. Can’t do it. Wouldn’t be prudent.

  15. So, any bets on Tuesday?

I think Sanders will ultimately take California, but it will take 2 weeks for the results to finally land. Nancy and crew are already working on the truckloads of mail-in ballots needed to bump Bernie.

Grocery shopping isn't hunting and gathering.

    Nice try though.

Besides, bagels are processed foods too. ;)

If they screw with the DNC primary process again... I’m un-registering as a Democrat.
