Leap day. That means an extra $2,790,000,000.00 of deficit spending for 2020.

He's a smart guy and I agree with a lot of his points especially on education. The best part is when he teaches rap to a group of senior citizens and ends up dropping bars at a live performance in a retirement home

  9. Indeed it is. Trump gets an extra day as president this year.

The guy couldn't be more reluctant to address the progressive agenda... *facepalm*.

If Biden wins... do you think anything is going to change?

I just read the campaign's take on healthcare. They provide a public option that isn't free. You can buy government healthcare if you want to. That's what it sounds like. And they use the term affordable; not free.

I do not like it. But if that's the way we're going, fine. I'm voting for Bernie Sanders in the primary on Tuesday I think it is. But if that doesn't work I will support a Biden presidency; albeit reluctantly.

Also, the take on the environment is lackluster in my heartfelt opinion. He's not promising anything if you ask me. He'll try? Maybe? goodness...

One thing Biden knows is what he may or may not be able to get through the House and the Senate... He's being practical with campaign promises.

Too bad he's carrying so much "baggage"... If he gets nominated it's an uphill battle he may not win.

    What I wanna know is
Why has Biden lying about getting arrested in South Africa not hurt him in South Carolina?

Y'all remember Howard Dean and the "Nyaaaaaaahhhh!!!" that ruined his campaign?

And now Joe Biden is confused about whether he's running for Senate or Presidency, and he's telling ridiculous lies about getting arrested and everyone just kind of collectively shrugs and goes about their business.
Politics are so fucking strange these days

The military is socialism too, mail, Schools, public water sanitation.

Really you're just arguing about degrees of socialism and not core concepts six. While you sit there and drink your clean water.

Or you pay for it bottled like a sucker. Which is driven to your store on public roads. You get that right buddy?

Law of averages seemed to suggest he'd have to win somewhere. It won't buy him momentum. He's broke, super Tuesdays three days away, and here in Texas I've never heard a Biden ad.

Trump's lies haven't hurt him among his supporters. People just don't seem to give a shit.

and that (Trump lying practically always) has normalized it. Now, anyone can do it. And if they do it less than him, it will seem like nothing notable. It's a shame.

Some network news though has been good about calling the president's lies just that; lies. And he lies through his teeth!

There's a difference between doing what's right for American lives and lying to get what you want. I've never seen this president do the former. It's like he won't bow to democracy. What the people want doesn't even enter into the equation. He just tries to further an agenda for big corporations and wall street like a thug representing where he's from that doesn't know any better. It's ridiculous.

It’d be nice to see Biden get the nomination. His constant gaffing and senile dementia has made this race very entertaining to say the least :D. Also, I think he would be the easiest for Trump to defeat. The only downside to this, is that the DNC will regroup after the defeat by saying that Sanders would've beaten Trump if he got the nod instead of Biden. Even though Sanders will be too old to run next time, his far-left platform will still be popular for future candidates to run on.

Whereas if Sanders got the nomination, it'd be wonderful to see the general election have similar results to the UK election with Johnson vs. Corbin. A crushing defeat like that will discourage the democrat party from going too far-left ever again, and they'll steer back to the center-left.

I guess it's also easy, being one who uses the internet, to take it for granted that there's a vast voting bloc out there of older voters who dont use the internet and still get their news from glancing at the headlines in the daily local paper. And therefore dont really have a clue about the batshit things politicians do that are magnified online
