I thought it was pretty good, myself, in showing what the candidates are like in a slugfest. I agree, Bloomberg did such a poor job I don't see how he'll last. We'll see how loudly money talks!

 

Only the South practiced formal institutionalized segregation. The Civil Rights movement of the 60s was first championed by the Democrats in the Kennedy and Johnson Administrations. You're correct about the opposition to busing, & neighborhood integration was resisted in parts sf the north. The South Boston riots though were in the 70s, & by then the Democrats were leading the Civil Rights movement. Nixon's Southern Strategy was under way, and those Democrat white supremacists in the South were registering Republican. By the Reagan Presidency in 1980, the Republican party’s hold on the South was firm, and has held ever since.

Mini Mike Bloomberg’s debate performance tonight was perhaps the worst in the history of debates, and there have been some really bad ones. He was stumbling, bumbling and grossly incompetent. If this doesn’t knock him out of the race, nothing will. Not so easy to do what I did!
