What democrats are doing is trying to recreate the angst of the 60s so they can act like civil rights heroes, protecting us all from a contrived white supremacist renaissance. Of course the 60s were a time when white supremacy was a Democrat campaign slogan.

 

Their power has been effectively broken but it's still a thing to be wary of.
Just because its not as bad as in the 60s doesn't mean its a nonissue, regardless if american media is blowing it out of proportion.
