2020 Election

Political rallies don’t happen in my area very often as it’s pretty rural. But I’ve been to a few, including a gold miners protest, an occupy protest, a Ron Paul meetup. I’ve trolled the women’s march by wearing a t shirt that said “white male” and I got some mixed responses. All were interesting experiences and I think you’ll have fun. If you have social anxiety, then going to an event with people with similar beliefs wil benefit you

I went clubbing on Saturday, and it was cool. Some guy was looking like he wanted to dance but we moved past it.

She got the reaction she wanted. If folks just ignored her, she'd have been disappointed. No You Tube footage. Besides, "the left" doesn't exist.

Once again, it's the "good" kind of hate they are spewing forth. Like petulant children.

 

I've been to a lot of them, the first was for George Wallace when he was running for governor. Then Bill Campbell when he ran for mayor in Atlanta. I was at an event for Ross Perot, but it wasn't exactly a rally. I went to a GW Bush rally in upstate NY, only, he wasn't there, just a bunch of local pundits throwing a lame "party" (that I had to pay to get into). The last one I attended in person was for Dick Gephardt, who went on to crash and burn.

These days, I only do Hip Rallies (drinking games in chat).

Other than ridicule, who has been trying to shut her down? I don't know anyone with genuine malice toward her, she's obviously being coached (badly), so her handler should expect people to call shit when they see it.

 

You know... I think she's doing a stand up job myself. She's a great speaker with a powerful message. And she's doing it all for what? I don't think she got where she is by taking bribes; though she may get compensated.

 

She's not a little girl? She's in her 20s.
When you're paid to provoke, you dont get to turn around and play the victim when you provoke.

He was reelected over and over by black voters in Alabama. Why? Because like most democrats he was a consummate panderer. When the winds changed, so did he and his message. Of course today's media only shows "segregation forever" and that clip of him capitulating at the university steps.

He owned the much lauded "black vote" in Alabama because he promised, and delivered, all the free shit they wanted from food stamps to make-work government jobs. For a long time the state was the largest employer in Alabama by a substantial margin.

 

Free speech is free speech. That many people cornering her is not a rational response to a difference of opinion. Please stop defending this sort of behavior, it's wrong at the core.

 

I didnt defend anything, I just disagreed with the way you mischaracterized her as a little girl when she's an adult who is paid to essentially be an agent provocateur.

 

As for the protesters, there was a clip floating around a few weeks ago where she went to another campus and the students approached her respectfully and let her "interview" them and made her look like an absolute moron in the process. that's a much better approach. I think its dumb to waste so much energy on her so i'm not defending how her protesters were acting.
